Figured i might as well make a topic, i guess... Been working on this for a while anyway.

Latest version:

EDIT: Santa and/or other addon files might not be up-to-date compared to the main file.
(Ex: Santa will not give Creeper a stun ball when killed by his melee attack untill updated.)

Well, the reason of this (unofficial) patch is to improve GVH in terms of balance, fix stuff that isnt working, and occasionally add a new function or even replace them entirely in rare cases. All that while still keeping gameplay roughly the same and simply making things more fair on both sides.
This patch adds changes (mostly nerfs/buffs) to all classes and whatnot.

If anyone wants to propose changes, add feedback, maybe even suggest entirely new functions, well, go ahead. This is a good way to kill time while waiting for an update anyway so i dont mind to check people's feedback or idea's. :P

Hmm... Dont think any official servers are gonna host this along with GVH, only non official good servers around are Virgil's servers, though i can host properly for like 7 or so players without lag, any more and there's risk of lag waves.

I wouldnt mind if anyone recommends a official server owner to host this though, though im not gonna try asking because im not expecting it to be hosted. :P

Heh, well you dont ever seem to change. :P
Of course if you ever got real feedback and im not around this is the place. Perhaps this would have gotten more posts if GVH wasnt as dead currently.

Heh, maybe, its a great mod (with some great and less-great moments in the start, oh the history of overpowered weapons taking places on the top...), perhaps it would. Though i'm quite sure an update would get some attention to it, not that she will get that done, im quite certain, so i'll have to do it instead eventually. Too bad Cutman let her do ALL the GVH management stuff, and she's inactive as hell. Perhaps an Email at some later point will do.

I really should update this patch... Though i stumbled upon a really addicting game... (No, not Minecraft. :P) Meh, maybe 100 hp with altered variables among other things to normalize it, will take longer then most updates.

Hmm... Perhaps people like you, me, other uh... dedicated fans/supporters/something of GVH should become the new GVH team, if there ever needs to be a new one. If that ever happens i hope they get picked WELL. People like Frits will just make the Hunter even STRONGER, heh... She sure messed up Santa...

Edit: Yeah, servers are rare. All i see is this crappy laggier-then-us server and perhaps AN US server. No european servers.

Baw, i was going to give the hunter a gatling lightning bow and each arrow would do 100000 billion million damage.
But unfortunatly i am lazy as hell and therefore i cba.

Don't change too much v2 era was the most fun too play.( And beta3 kicked ass heh :p)

Probaly because you where playing the side with the overpowered ranged instakill weapons... Heh...
I prefer the current one as it fixes most vile unbalanced weapons, well, except that strongest weapon in GVH the lightning bow, perhaps next version... Good thing Jitter stayed strong even after the massive so-called "JITTERRAPE!!!!!" and the eating nerf. Could have been worse...

Not like the ghouls in the really old days kicked as much ass as the humans with one-hit ranged kills did. Sjas even had to STOP when screaming! Oh rediculous old times...
Oh, updated the patch too. This time the style is going back to the official a little but with the obviously needed nerfs. At the very least it makes the HP 100 again, just hope i didnt forget to change any variables in the damages.

Edit: Too much old times rambling. :P

Heh i was thinking more of those castles and such, some weird cruz mappack or something, some of the castle levels where absolutely giant! Yet some maps where so small the humans could hardly earn a frag before losing, heh, such old times, when Creepers could change their color, even.

Simple, crazy old times. Not to mention how often Creeper would glitch out of a map or simply leave it through a tiny hole.
