Title: Any classic-like MegaMan maps?
Post by: Reimu Hakurei on February 29, 2020, 03:37:51 PM
I'm new and I'm stupid. I'm also curious, has anyone tried to / succeeded in making a map pack that reformats the game to a classic MegaMan game in 3D? Sorry if asking about this is breaking any rules, but, if there isn't I might look in to creating one once I get my new computer. It will most likely take a very very long time if I do, since I know NOTHING about modding, so I'd prefer to just play a pre-made one! Thank you Cutstuff forums, very cool!

There's the Mission Mode, which is a set of four levels made by CMM back during v3. You can find it here:
It got two unofficial expansions in Strength in Numbers ( and Mega Man X Single Player (, the former of which adds four extra characters and the latter of which replaces the cast with MMX characters and adds three levels.

You'll probably need to hunt down compatibility patches for the three above ones if you want to run them in v5d.

Mega Man 4 Single Player: Cossack Crusaders ( is in development at the moment.

I might be forgetting other things, but hopefully there's a place to start!

I do believe there are servers for them on Doomseeker, actually, although...I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually private sessions.
The sad part about all this is that it quickly becomes incompatible with time, so there's little time to enjoy them.

...I wonder if there were any tryhards mixing it in, back then...if that's even possible.
