oh hey, talking about that swordman sprite i made

saying my swordman sprite has too many colours is like saying plantman, needleman, drillman, gravityman, yamatoman, tomahawkman, windman, gyroman, stoneman, etc. have too many colours

but i'm glad my swordman still looks good even with reduced colours

Google Drive had links that expire, and OneDrive links only worked if the person trying to view them was logged into my account
CutmanMike ended up letting me use a filehosting site he had put together for my old files

gee, this dropbox issue almost made me forget that i'm having gbatemp problems too

Welp, I sorted it out
all my links on all my posts are now replaced so they won't die when dropbox ends the public folder 3 days from now

no thanks to dropbox, making me spend 9 hours digging through posts to fix things before they break

Oh, that kinda sucks

Anyway, it seems Google Drive is a MUCH better way for backing up all those images of mine, heh. Though I think I'll keep the ones that I had already uploaded to imgur on imgur.... at least until I'm about to edit all my posts

EDIT: Wow, actually, Google Drive was much easier and much more convenient to use. It'll definitely shorten how long it'll take me to fix everything up, hehe

EDIT2: testing to see if I can actually directly link to images on google drive

EDIT3: it appears that google drive image links are frikken long. and direct image links don't work with google's url shortener, so my art and 8bdm skins topics will be a bit awkward
gotta find a solution to that i suppose

EDIT4: well, it appears that direct image links don't quite work for google drive
after a while, they'll stop working, and i'd have to change the link again

anybody got any alternatives? I'd like something that is like google drive, but where direct file links stay permanent

EDIT5: Trying Microsoft OneDrive...

I'm in the process of moving everything to imgur right now....
currently got all my art and all my avatars re-uploaded, next are my game screenshots

luckily there is a "view your own posts" feature here, so finding all my posts and fixing all image links shouldn't be THAT difficult. Just time consuming

And I'm also glad all my forum activity is (was?) specifically at two different places, so it's not like I have to go through a TON of websites or something

I just found out that, thanks to Dropbox making a crappy decision, all my shared files (except the skins that I have already moved to mediafire) are going to die in 5 days, essentially erasing the past 8 years of stuff I've made if i do not go back and manually fix everything

Just mentioning it so that if anybody goes back to one of my old posts and finds broken links everywhere, they know the reason.

Yeah, when Mike needed a nice lil' mugshot for the final boss, I was a little tired and didn't make it right away, so he took a Shark Man mugshot I had made and used that as a placeholder (but not before scribbling "KILL ME" on it). It was so silly, that I requested it stays in the game as a little secret somewhere...
Considering the addition of the elevator in Light Labs removed the dead Slash Man secret, having a new one take its place is a good thing, haha

Not a real update, Just adding two things based on the recently released Nightmare Before Christmas expansion

Adding a skin that's in the expansion, a skin that was rejected from the expansion, modifying a skin from a previous expansion that is in the new one, and modifying a skin that was in a previous expansion that was erased from existence in the new one

I think you're thinking of Rockman Gold Empire

There's a few more obscure games, like Rockman X Math Tornado, and this one Rockman DASH game about saving 5 islands or something, as well
