It's been a while since we've seen new CTF maps, so today I'm here to announce a new mapping jam specifically for CTF. Introducing...

This is like Freeman's jams, except the main goal of this jam is making maps that can be played in 2-flag CTF and 1-flag CTF modes. (stealing this text from Freeman) Basically, the community comes together and makes a bunch of maps. It's not just something for veteran mappers to enjoy either, if you've ever thought about making a map for this game, now's the chance to go for it! Newbies are more than welcome! It's important to note that this is not a contest, and it's more just something to make for fun for everyone to enjoy. And because it's not a contest, if you're ever unsure how to do something or want feedback on a map or map piece, always feel free to ask anyone. Personally I'm always willing to help if someone needs it.

There's only 1 phase for this jam, just building the entire CTF map by yourself or with a friend. If you want to know what items need to be in the map or how to even get started, you can check out the ruleset here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k3b5n8ev76mejnu/FFF_Ruleset.docx?dl=0 . You can also come to the MM8BDM discord or FFF discord to talk about your map and get help from other mappers. Once maps have been submitted, I'll work on compiling the submissions into a single map pack and release it in a big event called Capchella 2022.

DEADLINE FOR MAP SUBMISSIONS IS SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2022 AT 11:59:59 PM PACIFIC STANDARD TIME.
EXPECT THE FFF MAP PACK TO BE RELEASED ON OCTOBER 3RD .
