Skulltag has problems with jumping sprites, if I recall.

for my original stage mode, I tried to make the megaman class with jumping sprites, they worked somewhat, but he stays in jumping pose if you go up ladders which just look weird

you do know that the name jumpman has already been taken a few years back when mario used to be called jumpman in donkey kong due to jumping all over those barrels that dk would just hurl at him
