Will this mod be updated for V6B?
The short answer is: yes, but it will work like the base game, where only Maestro changes colors.

The long answer is: due to the myriad mod-centric changes that came with v6b, Hudball is going to fundamentally change. While not among the foremost or most drastic changes, mugshots are affected as well. Going forward, we (myself and a prolific member of the community who offered his expertise) can either support static, skin-based mugshots (and color-changing Maestro), or a single color-changing mugshot designated by the player, but not both. Being that the dev team went to such lengths to incorporate the former into the base game, that's what we ultimately decided to go with.

I may or may not go into greater detail at a later juncture. There's no ETA on the new version yet because the burnout is real.
Now that skins can have mugshots, will HUDBall be updated to use those instead of a singular set image?

MM8BDM on Windows 98 is something I've never even thought of attempting on my old Gateway. I'm gonna have to try that at some point.

Well, if we're trying to select Search Man's stage, then why does it goes to Blizzard Man's instead on this mod, i guess the developer of this Mod of MM8BDM needs to fix the problem
While search man's weapons were completed, Search Man's stage (and boss fight?) was not in the latest version of the mod. Sadly, idk how to unlock search man's weapons

Can't Believe It's Not SLADE

Can't Believe It's Not SLADE (CBINS) is a command line utility that allows users to easily create and manage PK3-based projects in more modern editors such as Visual Studio Code rather than SLADE.

It does this by providing the ability to create directory structures that can be opened in modern editors and tracked by source control such as Git, but then also providing the ability to compile that directory (including its ACS) into a PK3 file.

So you're saying that some of these stages from that jam were remade for later packs?

The Falcon pack (aka jam2 that's always missing) was a very different type of mappack than the rest of jam focused on a bunch of people making maps in an incredibly short period of time. As such the quality in the pack is super questionable, updating them outside of that time limit kinda defeats the purpose of the jam existing in the first place, and the maps that were decent were already taken out of the pack and put into people's respective map packs (LEG06 is from Falcon originally for example). So it's just not included nor will ever be included with the rest of jam.

It's been a hot minute. There was a lot of work to bring the (large amount of) older maps to v6b stuff and to just make things nicer while we're at it. But we're here!

Now the school season really kicked people's asses this go around, so I'm hoping to have an update to Burger after the summer is over if people who weren't able to finish a map are still interested in making one. I'll try to update it around that time.

Anyway, as for files...

There are a few updates besides the new maps, namely a completely remade PBJ10 and EGG32 plus a brand new MOM25 and MOM26 (with the old MOM25 being pushed to MOM27 cause I'm a loser who likes certain maps closing the pack)

As for the map list of Burger maps...

Anyway, thank you all for waiting and hope you all enjoy! Should hopefully see another post here in a few months assuming new maps come on in!
or sooner if some hidden bug is still lurking under the radar

Speaking of maps...I don't see no Falcon Pack bundled with it, what has happened?
