Gotta play defensively in TLMS, hold back with your group and don't rush ahead trying to get frags. DM and TLMS are polar opposites since dying and even just taking damage in LMS has much more serious consequences :ugeek:

Getting close to that "giving up" part lol. It's not because I get owned in every match (that I am used to) it's because it's the first 15 second of of every match I play. Not too sure how Classes TLMS is different than vanilla DM technique-wise (I imagine you can use the same techniques in both areas).If you want to improve your skill, Classes TLMS is probably the worst place to start. True LMS places players on equal footing and gives you multiple weapons to choose from. Classes will lock you into a single weapon at the start of the round and forces you to hit the ground running against players who may have an advantage from their class alone.

If you want to spend more time playing the game versus watching, play in smaller LMS servers or play DM. Classes in this game is the equivalent of GvH's Nordic Saga.
Honestly, the best thing to use in TLMS tends to be seeker classes >.>Because you don't really get the chance to do that.
Other than that, unless you have a main see what complements your team. If another guy is Darkman3, cooperate with him by using Skull/Sparkmen.

Well...I wanted to make a custom fan-made robot master with a name and power that was unique and was not yet taken (hopefully), and if I figured that...if I were to ever make a MM8BDM skin (in which I have absolutely no idea how to make nor have any experience with whatsoever), it would be pretty simple to make a breadbox that spews yummy deadly baked breaded pastries from his face at the opposing force. Greetings everyone. My name is Shinryu, otherwise known as "Shinryuu82" on YouTube (although some people tend to refer to me by a shortened version of this name - "Shin").
In any case, I've been intrigued by the Mega Man series for quite some time (Mega Man 4 was actually one of the first games I ever played). While my attachment to the whole franchise is pretty strong, I never really took the time to look around the community much. Granted, there were a few forums I used to visit a while back, though a majority of them are long since gone by now. I figured it was about time to venture out further and meet others in the wide fan-base and communities centered around all this, among other general topics as well.
As for a bit of other detail about myself, I generally post playthrough videos of various Mega Man-related games on YouTube. Considering I don't like to use my mic (mostly because my voice would sound like sandpaper on your ears), I do all of my commentary through annotations to present information and opinions on these various works. I also noticed that a few of my playthroughs were embedded on these forums as example links in a fan-game archive topic (which was another reason that propelled me to further check these forums out). In relation to that, I don't know how I ignored 8-bit Deathmatch for so long, but I was probably missing out on quite a bit until I heard about the update involving the Mega Man & Bass chapter. I've actually been thinking about getting back into customizing/editing sprites for potential use with the game itself, even if it amounts to extras and downloads. I'm currently reading through the various tutorials in regards to custom content creation for the game. As helpful as they are, I'm not sure if I would be capable of doing anything super technical with the engine - but I do want to try to make some mock-ups of player sprites suitable for the engine (mostly going off of other various MM fan-games currently, to which I'm sure some may have already beaten me to the punch on). I'm not sure as to which section of the board these would go in (simply because they'd be sprite-based ideas for usage), but I'm guessing the most logical place would be the "Resources" thread in the Projects board.
Other than that, I don't have too much else to say. I hope to have a fun and interesting time in meeting you all!
