@Stonefunk- *Bad/overdone idea (not bad game)
I know I'm acting like an arse about this and I'm sorry for that, but why would you ask me why I'm mad, then turn around and say we gotta wait when waiting is what I've been saying the whole time?
1. I know what Capcom's done over the recent years. That all's been long since covered. Why act like fans have never expressed their dissapointment before?
2. You keep saying "they don't care, they don't care." Don't you think that's been covered by now? Why are you keeping on?
3. There's been other stuff people have liked that lasted less time than Megaman. Besides, don't you think Inafune, probably the only person that still cared for the series before and after quitting from Capcom after all the irritation he may have put up with, might've moved on by now? Mighty No. 9 is still coming regardless and that may become as good for all we know (it's supposed to be a spiritual successor for a reason.)
If Capcom finally does something new one day, good. If not, fine. Move on.
You forgot the point that everyone jumped at Capcom's neck as soon as Mega Man Legends 3 got cancelled. And let's never forget that many mistook Maverick Hunter for a cancelled game, some even saying "Capcom cancelled another Mega Man", while it was actually a canned project. People just want a reason or another to rant about companies:
Ubisoft? "A new Assassin's Creed every year?! Stop milking it!"
Activision? "Another Call of Duty?! Your milking too much!"
Nintendo? "Another Pokémon. They sure are desperate. They need to make a new IP!"
Sega? "Here comes Sonic 06-2!"
Square-Enix? "OMG, new FF sux! Bring back FF7" (I'm going to laugh so hard if the "remake" disappoints people again)
Atlus? "They keep recycling that Persona Visual Novel thing!"
Valve? "Gaben can't count to three!"
EA? "Electronic fArts is the wurst company in the world!"
And the list goes on and on. Impatient fans, oblivious fans, haters... They always find a reason to hate, no matter what, and often turns into a blind, pointless ranting about how this company or another is.
