There are no mm7 maps because I can't be bothered.












MM8BDM-HUB.

Both players hit the same map to pick it.
To teleport back to the hubmap, all players must spectate.

using Alexmax Duel-32's code as a base, I made Duel-32 MM8BDM edition.

Alexmax dropped out of this project because:

A lot of this is my code now and the map is mine, I ripped/created most* of the graphics.
*There were already screenshots of most of the maps in the game.

HORY SHET

The map sure looks nice. However, I question the decision to have every single map(even aids ones like Dive Man) in a single room. Maybe have the maps in separate rooms organized by game? Then you could have per-game random selectors and things.

no.

The maps in separate rooms, you wouldn't be able to see your opponent running around choosing a map.

Also, there is a limit to the size of a map. Once it gets too large you get clipping errors.

Do you mind placing about 5 to 10 "blank" monitors that don't do anything? Just so there's space for custom maps/map packs, without having to feck up the hub's organized layout.

I like it, but there appears to be a lot of empty space over by the teal-ish corner of the room.  Is this where you spawn, intentional room for custom maps, or...what?

It's where you spawn and potential space.

Hi.  I've been lazy about this, but I'll get to coding on this tonight probably.

Also, I'm probably going to molest DTD's vision for the map to suit my purposes.  Mwahaha.

EDIT: Damnit, I can't find the map file that he sent me.  Hit me up with it again, DTD.

It's really nice to work with somebody so eager.  I rearranged the map and sent it back to DTD and he did a bunch of sprite and texture-ripping work for me, as well as a little detail.  Now I get to spruce it up and code the map selection engine.

Ya know, It's really nice when you're working with someone who you can delegate all the bitch-work to.  :p

I enjoy mapping and I want this map to be complete. I also have no experience in hub maps. It's much easier to give it to someone else.
