Megaman 2 does have a weakness chain!

Bubble>Heat>Wood>Air>Crash>Flash>Quick>Metal>Bubble etc

when i played megaman 2 first i did bubbleman first because he looked sorta wimpy thus i never got to experience metal blades throughout the whole game

Now I wonder... How does a snake disturb twins, and why does a spinning top hurt a Ninja?

Yeah that doenst make any sense indeed... like why does a bomb in a bubble hurt a cloud?  :)
And why do springs hurt a vampire?
And how does junk hurt ice?

But we can continue like that forever i guess  :p

Mega Man 3 has two weakness chains:
Snake>Gemini>Needle>Snake
Spark>Magnet>Hard>Top>Shadow>Spark

That was the order I did it in, so I used Needle Cannon on Spark Man.  It worked well enough, but Shadow Blade works better.

Mega Man 2's weakness order is stupid.

Metal Man --> Flash Man --> Quick Man --> Metal Man?

Metal Man --> Bubble Man --> Heat Man --> Wood Man --> Air Man --Crash Man --> ???

Metal Man --> Wood Man --> Air Man --> Crash Man --> ???

Metal Man --> Metal Man?

Actually I know the reason to that. Freeze Man originally was a prototype robot designed for Non-polluting energy until the good doctor changed him into a icy annoyance that can break the fourth wall (use Freeze Cracker on him in the second encounter. He practically mocks you with his pose :p).

So yeah, I guess it makes sense for a non-pollution bot to be weak against the thing he was meant to eliminate.

Yeah, MM2 and 3 seemed to have odd chains, but MM2 seemed to be obsessed with Metal Man, lol.

Bahhahahahah!! Brotoad! That is so true!
I thought the same when I saw that in MM9.
I face palmed, and it was just after he was being a smart arse and showing Dr. Wily how he failed the previous times.

MM is so naive, even in MM10.
Auto: Oh no, the medicine making machine is gone?
Dr. Light: Who could have taken it?
Mega Man: It was Dr. Wily?

Yeah no shit, who was the bad guy in the past 9 games (10 if you include MM & Bass) lolol. Oh well.

Flash Man isn't especially weak to Metal Blade.  It does 2 bars of damage (I think) to him, something the regular mega buster can do.  Same for Wood Man, it doesn't hurt him for an especially large amount of health.  You can kill Wood Man with one well placed Crash Bomb too.

The official chain is still linear:
Air > Crash > Flash > Quick > Metal > Bubble > Heat > Wood.
Metal Blades and Crash Bombs work on lots of people too.

I guess Capcom didn't realise they made the blades too damn OP.

I think all the other bosses go in order, except three which has it's own little side order.
