I know that this bitch is rather an old one, but I'll say it anyway... Mainly because this is the only place I can post it without either derailing or necro posting.

Why would Santa always be saying "Ho!" in everything? Also, the variety in the voice wasn't enough in my opinion. Other than that, I actually liked Santa... Ah well. No biggie.

Pardon for the bump, but...

Your ideas for endlessness sound a lot like my pawn of the king expansion planning, idea-wise. Not that that's a bad thing, I'm glad you're actually CONSIDERING it. What with endless ghouls attacking, who wouldn't share the love? :mrgreen:

If you want any help, I wouldn't mind lending a hand. I've started getting quite crafty with DECORATE, ACS, mapping, and photoshop. I even managed to get those 3D skyboxes working too (with the six panels that form a cross when unfolded)

It needed locking in my opinion, because cutman is about finished with GVH at this point...

Anyway, my main problem, is there's no true sniper weaponry... So I had to augment my own class for the hell of it, and I don't ever go playing online when the bots are fun as hell to beat the crap out of whenever I get frustrated trying to make something in AEoD to work properly...

Don't use +QUARTERGRAVITY for the grenades. They are fine as is, just make them detonate when a ghoul runs over them or something.

I tried to upload the one I zapped in Photoshop with the pentagram and hidden evil smiley but it didn't seem to like it much...

Anyway, the one from the skulltag forums is from a piece of artwork that I had completed about a few months ago. I seriously doubt anyone would want to see it though.

On top of that, Cutman asked DBThanatos himself if he could take it and modify it, and DBT gave him the permission. Enough said.

After I heard Knux's map didn't get accepted, I looked at my map shamefully and thought... This definitely won't work either. I was going to send you the email, cutman, but sadly 1. the power went out, and 2. when I saw the release at an early hour, the design idea became putrid. I didn't want to burden you any further.

I was also struggling with a way to prevent the jitterskulls from flying over the edges of the iceburg, which in turn would make Sjas unable to fly around (and die in the mist from over-time damage), then as I tried to get a new idea in the barrel, to rework the map, but it didn't get done in time. I still have an hour's worth of work to be put into the new map, if you even care to still accept it.

Not to mention, thanksgiving was a nightmare... The whole damn family melted down.

Sorry for letting you down cutman. I'm not trying to make excuses for not turning it in, but if you are still willing to accept the map, I'll turn it in at some point... when the actual bit of the "jolly" mood removes this demotivated side of my creativity...

Telefrags do 10 000 damage, which is the threshold of IDDQD/GOD but the invulnerability sphere has always been able to protect you from any amount of damage, even telefrag.

Alot of these classes don't really have the.. personality to become ghouls in GVH / GF49493.53
Alot of them don't really seem as thought out as the original ghoul cast.

Funny, the bug persists where you can still get telefragged unless they fixed it in skulltag 98a.

Suggestion: Avoid PMing Cutman with material, because that is a huge turnoff for people who are trying to get their wads re-organized and updated. Instead, just put it here because I'm sure that as more users join the board, the more he'll get spammed with PM's about the most random stuff ever.

Also, if you're going to submit something then I might suggest you be 100% happy and completely finished before sending it in. No popular wad owner wants to go through and have to modify someone else' own material because that person isn't happy with it. Whether he does or not, it's up to him but most of the time they won't, and may reject it. Just another suggestion.

Newp. Doesn't work. ACS runs DamageThing which will kill you unless you have one of the latest versions of Zdoom which changes the mechanics of God mode, making you truly invulnerable.

However, it still kills you anyway. Even if you have say 666 health and 666 armor (thinking Arsenal here), you still die.

Here's a tip: give invulnerabilitysphere

Doesn't work on the Creeper though, because he uses ACS to kill you like Yurei.

Samara is far scarier, with the way she is in GVH at the moment... Ugh I hate her so...

Okay, I get your point Wartorn. Those kinds do have huge flaws and are quite tacky...

Also, Abbagoochie is... The name is hilarious but unfortunately, the ghouls in Cutman's are all made from souls from humans who desire revenge, or have gone to Hell basically. Animal ghouls don't seem right. Plus, he won't fit any of the maps forthcoming because the only actors that are around... are props. No monsters, no ammo, just a level with detail, some spawn points, and off we go. Might be suitable for a different ghoul's forest though.

And no more strife classes please, Pucy. The cyborg is enough. The Strife Helmet is absolute crap.
