Bug:MM8BDM.exe and Zandonum not working.

Hey, I need some help here. Every time i load MM8BDM or Zandoronum i get the following error message:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

And then the file deletes itself.

I have windows 7 and my account is an administrator.

Any help would be good.

Where are you trying to install the game?

That honestly sounds like an issue related to an antivirus. This would make sense because, while MM8BDM.exe itself is safe, it uses a method to download the banner at the bottom of its UI that causes a lot of antiviral software to flag it as dangerous and sometimes just straight up purge it.

If you have an antivirus software, try disabling it and attempt to run again. If this works, enable it again and add MM8BDM.exe and Zandronum.exe as exceptions.

Idk if installing is the word i would use, I downloaded the .zip from the website and extracted it.

Right Click, Properties, Compatibility tab, "Run as Administrator" must be ticked.

I think Lego is on the mark. Sounds like antivirus or antimalware software causing the problem.
