New Super Mario Bros. B/Y is one available control scheme.
And Sonic Rush (but that one needs R for boost gauge (rail tricks and air-dash finishers)).

Also I have a 3DS that I only use for DS games. My little brother inherited my DSlite (L and R are not really working too well anymore).
And Sonic Rush is kind of painful on the 3ds. The circle pad is somewhat imprecise and the D-pad is in a stupid hard-to-use place.

My 3DS got pretty decent conditions as far buttons go.

My DSLite got a somewhat broken screen.

And from my original DS, all it needs is a battery, but I don't think anyone sells that anymore?

well, on the subject of broken Nintendo Software, my DSi is COMPLETELY screwed up. first, both of the shoulder pads dont even work at all. you now how that is for a guy who used to make loads of sprite animations on FlipNote? Second, On my touch screen, there's an area where if you put the stylus on it, the part that's touch sensitive goes all wack and stuff, like all jittering around. plus, it all used to suck because i used to play Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded like crazy.
buts nows i has a 3DS which works just fine. i actually love using the circle pad for Super Scribblenauts!
good thing that a FlipNote 3d is coming out! i've always wanted it. it also looks like it has a couple new features with it as well. lets hope that sprite animations will be TWICE as easy now.

now, today was the last day of MAPS testing. aaaaand i had my math MAPS test. which math is one of my worst subjects because i have a B- that i have to fight for. BUT, our teacher handed out Mint Candies and pieces of paper which had a mint scent on them, for most of the questions, i was practically holding the Mint paper as close to my nose without actually shoving up my nostrils. my teacher said that mint helps your mind or something. soooo, i kinda held that close to my face. when i thought i had enough of the mint paper, i went towards the mint candies my teacher had given to me. now, i chew things when ever i'm axious or something, or alot of the time because i have this oral fixation or something.  so, i kinda chewed up all of the candies, which they only lasted for about 4 questions of the test. i finally finished later and... i GOT HIGHER THAN MY GOAL! WOOT WOOT, PARTY FOR COLONEL BEING A BADASS IN MATH! no seriously, i got a 236, which my goal was 231. soooo, i kinda kicked some algebraic ass over there. so congrats to me i guess. also, i think my science grade might've went up as well, since we're studying diversity of life and i'm great at that kind of stuff. but we have a science test tomarrow. i think i'll ace it. or beece it idunno.

Well, might as well say this too...

One very damn long time ago (can't remember, around 2007 or 08) I had two DSLites. One was white, the other was black. The white one got replaced three times because I fell and broke it first, I hardly remember what happened the second time and the third time the screens were cracked (dunno if it was the touch or top screen). Also the L and R buttons were broken after the third replacement (2008) and the touch screen stopped working. The black one was never replaced, but the L and R buttons broke in 2008 and the touch screen became a bit broken. Several days later the touch screen stopped working. Those two things were traded in for a DSi. The DSi's L and R buttons broke in 2010. Several weeks after the DSi XL was released I traded my DSi in for the XL. The XL never broke and was perfectly fine. 4/17/2011 I traded in my DSi XL for the 3DS. I don't remember when but my L and R buttons completely stopped working in the fall of 2012 (it was temporary in the winter of 2011). I got a blue 3DS XL on my birthday party which was in October. Its not broken at all. This year I got a new GBA SP because my mom sorta broke my blue one. My A button is sorta failing on my regular 3DS right now.
The current number of handheld systems  that I have right now is: 6 (I have a PSP but it doesn't work now because battery problems)

So I downloaded a USF rip of all the Super Smash Bros. (N64) music.

The game was released in 1999.

The USF files have the (latest) Date Modified as Christmas Eve of 1996.

UNIX, Linux and maybe also MacOSX have a command called "touch".
You can set the date of creation with it. To whatever you want. Even 7/4/1776.
Apparently someone wanted to be funny with it.

Long development time for the game, perhaps?

or the guy's computer is in the wrong year.

Reminds me of having a ROM with the date modified from a time before released.

Just checked, ALL the USF rips I downloaded have the 24/12/1996 year.

I dunno, but I don't think Kirby 64, Donkey Kong 64, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, Dr.Mario 64, Super Smash Bros., and Diddy Kong Racing all started development on the Christmas Eve after the N64 launched.

Still pretty weird how someone would have their computer set to 1996 now.

Well, Christmas 1996 is a date to remember, I guess.
So I guess they set the date of their files to 24.12.1996 to commemorate that.
Remember, the N64 got released in 1996.

Is there a mod for invasion mode for this game? Like something similar to the Armageddon Invasion mods for skulltag?

I went to a movie theater to see Oblivion. It was quite good. Started out slow with it's few moments of action, but it picked up towards the ending, which had a deep message. Pretty good, overall. There's Iron Man 3 too, but since I haven't had the chance to see #2 yet, I'm skeptical about going to see it.
