Cutstuff Minecraft Server! FTB ULTIMATE! (Closed again)

Not sure why, but ever since Sunday evening (about 8:30-9:30 CST), I've been experiencing lots-o-lag every time I log in.  After 10 seconds or so of logging in, the game slows down to the point where I can't even move (or if I can I move, it'sssss verrrry slooooow).  Not sure if it's due to the fact Chuggafan died and dropped amazing amounts of items under my house, but it's probably not that since the lag is still here two days later.

If anyone has suggestions on how to fix it/when it will be fixed, let me know. And if any of you take my redstone while I'm away I'll eat your face(s) off

Java / took to long to connect errors typically are something being wrong with the server, unless all of a sudden someone is using all the bandwith on your internet connection by downloading tons of stuff.

Worked fine last time though, but for me various sounds changed, perhaps a sneaky update?
Might as well reset the jar file and see if it persists.

I say Make a server Reset, a new RC2 server, as a Temp server befor e1.0

I think it is, because I can connect for about 15 seconds before I'm hit with a massive lag spike.  Still not quite sure what's causing the lag, though.   :?

Edit: Now I can't even connect to the server.  Curse you, long-distance connection!

Ah, 1.0.0 seems to be released now. I do wonder if we get to keep the world of have to reset, though honestly it doesnt matter to me, always a new chance to build an even greater house, plenty of things to mess with in the meanwhile though.

If we do get a new world i hope its more... Flat, but still with a mountain and other stuff not too far in reach. Something ideal for a small village of houses. :P

Ok it's back up. I floated around for a while and didn't get the lag issue so hopefully it's fixed itself.

I had some fair lag before giving up on the 'invalid server key' error, but i managed to get in now and then. I'm guessing its always laggy when updated or recently restarted?

I do wonder how we are supposed to get these blaze ronds if we have a nether without fortresses, they might just be incredibily rare, or not spawn at all, the wiki article making me think the latter. Hmm... Maybe use those super admin powers if they're confirmed to not show up at all? (Like a box of those in the village.)

Edit: So far once i get in i can only open a chest in the first few miliseconds maybe and then it acts as if im lagging hardcore yet not thrown out, aka inable to interact with objects, but still move. It doesnt keep the result of my interaction with the chest either, aka i cant pick up my damn obsidian. Weirdly i end up on the location i logged out if logging back in anyway, maybe its having trouble keeping synch.

Meh, the game is just being stupid due to lag i assume.

Hm, perhaps the issues are resolved with a new world, yes, though if i where you it might be better to run a poll or simply ask before that happens (and pick a world with a nice starting area? :P).

Does seem like the server keeps some information. I threw myself off a cliff, got the black screen of death on respawning, reloaded the game, and spawned at my house with no items left. Any deaths afterwards i could respawn without the black screen of death. It wont let me eat, though, as opposed to DO letting me take bloody damage from anything.

Guess i'll wait it out for now, Minecraft servers always where troublesome during updates.

EDIT: Nevermind the gameplay errors i keep getting, seems the mod TMI bugged out online play somehow. Works fine without.

Edit2: Had a hard quest for some Blaze monsters but there seems to be none, OrangeMario said he saw one though given the extreme rarity its still quite unlikely. So i wonder if this is going to need some admin action... Maybe have people tell the location of their house and have it delivered by someone.

Edit3: Still nothing after exploring insane lenghts of the nether. Perhaps reset the world like always to gain acces to nether fortresses, and it just being another oppertunity to build a newer better house, eh? Might want to poll that (again) though, if so.
