Dont forget to burn the Jungle with all its treehouses. Assuming Cutman doesnt stealthily or randomly reset the map before anyone gets the chance to do so. If that ever happens...

Speaking of i wonder if he even LOOKS at this topic every once in a while, either he's not paying attention or he's waiting for an update, and god damn that update is taking forever...
I highly suspect the former though, and encourage you'd throw any pressing MC matter at him via PM though, worked every time for me. Only if its actually that important though.

Ah well atleast the lack of Minecraft made me get my GTA2 singleplayer map to like 85% completion, still a few empty spots to fill...

Soooo, why can't those who are interested just leave everything behind, move about five minutes out of town, and start again from there?  It seems like it would be about the same as a new server (except for resetting The End and such).  You'd just need to leave a trail so people could find the new civilization from the spawn point.

Anyways, if you do end up burning anything down, you should totally record a video of it for posterity and such

Eh, maybe that works purely for building fancy looking stuff but that gets a little boring on its own for me. Difference between the two is that without a reset, what would stop you from abandoning your project and going back to (one of) your home(s)? Or just taking items from there instead of starting anew? Even if you destroy it and all your items (which is a rather tedious task), others already made their progress. In particular the Nether already is accesible then, most likely with Nether Wart farms and is no longer a valid goal to strife for, same deal with strongholds, The End, and such, i suppose.

Not to mention, a new world, a new enviroment, new resources and places to build. For example we built a wonderfull winter city last world or so, this world we built a pretty decent treehouse village. It keeps bringing people back, it keeps giving people goals to strife for, even if they have been achieved before, atleast they're worth it (such as the Nether resources). Also an exellent oppertunity to build even better stuff, i guess.

Oh well i just hope they update the damn game soon enough so we can have a new world. Kinda wonder if i'll finish the last map details before an update gets spit out.

I have reset the server but I'm only allowing a private group of friends (who have never played minecraft before) to enjoy for a while. I dunno how long it will be until I decide to put it back up but eh, I'll let you know. In the mean time, try some hardcore SMP or something!

Ah well, i guess the server needs some use. I just hope it will be soon available whenever the update comes out somewhere this month, which could be from tomorrow to 20 days or so later. Could always use more people in the MC server, if they decide to join in whenever you put the server back to normal, considering the little MC community we have here is pretty friendly and all.
Hm, and is DTD ever getting unbanned/whitelisted again yet? I mean as long as he can control himself, why not. :P

I noticed that the next update has a "large biomes" world type, i wonder if we should try it out next update?
it might be a bit too tedious though, exploration probably wouldn't be as satisfying, which is a definate bad because i plan on building further away from spawn next world
