F-Zero AX found in F-Zero GX!
« on: March 09, 2013, 02:39:14 AM »
If you thought you had to go out of your way to find a Tri-Force F-Zero AX Machine to play it, apparently, this has been proven wrong. Hackers found out, via Action Replay, that the arcade game was in GX all along!

Holy FDJLFSDJFLKJSDKLF what is this madness!

I have an Action Replay I could use to do this, but Wii's don't let you use them so I'll have to do it at a friend's house or something on their Gamecube.

Be sure it can add codes, as Wii-compatible versions won't be able to access it.

This is just one of many things hidden in the code of old games, there's probably more to hack and find out!

Speaking of gamecube classics, did anyone ever play mario sunshine? If so, do you remember the laughing masked man who you had to race through levels to get some of the stars? He never takes off his mask in game, but someone exported the model for him and took the mask off. It turned out to the be the running man from Zelda Ocarina of Time!

So that's what an AX machine was like. Eh, I didn't miss much after all, which is a relief. It would've been nice if I hadn't needed to beat Story Chapter freaking 7 on Very Hard, though. The reason it's in the disc is probably for compatibility. Still, that is astounding to know.

So now all of us F-zero fans does not need to track down an F-Zero AX Arcade machine...
However, we still do have to track down a copy of the GOOD version of Action Replay for the GameCube,
the version that allows you to enter custom/more codes into the thing. Which last I checked is rare, and can go over 130$ on Amazon.com.

Try going to GameStop or something. They usually have action replays and stuff.

The problem being. They only really sell Action Replay for DS right now.

And the GC by now is already an old/outdated console.

I'm not at all surprised. I unlocked the AX cup/tracks in GX by winning all of the difficulties on all of the cups. As for the vehicles, I just cleared every Very Hard version of the campaign. That also net me all of the AX custom machine parts.

I'm too skeptical right now to believe that people are surprised :I

We all knew that the Machines and Tracks are in there, but this is the entire arcade game we're talking about!
