To my knowledge, it's never been done before. Maps from Ducktales have appeared in the past - Transylvania and the Amazon come to mind, but not the moon.

If you're interested and motivated, I say go for it!

I didn't leave put one here because I assumed it would be a common spot for people to hide from combat, completely hidden from sight lines.
That said, that's a pretty lame reason, especially considering you can hug the ledge there anyways and accomplish almost exactly the same thing.

For MM8BDM v6 I'm gonna edit this map to help remove little quirks like this, so look forward to that.

Mega Man Discussion / Re: Do you prefer the name "Megaman" or "Rockman" ?
« on: October 28, 2018, 02:50:50 AM »
"Mega" and "Roll" doesn't make me shake in anger but I do think the old dynamic was a little better.

I'm biased, but "Mega Man" is iconic. I'd never be able to call him Rockman at this point.

Forum Games / MM8BDM: Time Plus One
« on: October 24, 2018, 11:56:03 PM »
There are a lot of stupid ideas but I offer one that's a little stupider.

Open up MM8BDM, run around a map for a little while. Or maybe a lot of while.
Keep your finger glued to that Tab key to bring up the leaderboards.

You're looking to upload a screenshot of you having exactly 1 more "Time" than the user above you.

For example, I'll be posting a screenshot on MM2MET with Time 0.
The user below me will post a screenshot on some random map with Time 1.
Then the user below him will post a screenshot on some random map with Time 2.
We'll keep going until it becomes physically impossible to quantify how much time you spent running around on MM4TOA.

Map doesn't matter, how old the screenshot is doesn't matter, what you're doing doesn't matter. Online, offline, classes, vanilla, custom map, core map, Saxton Hale Roboenza, all equal here.

Try to include a screenshot with specifically your time as the focus, but I'm not gonna rip your head off for including someone else's Time.

Let's regret this.

MM8BDM Discussion / Re: MM8BDM V6 - Development begins!
« on: October 23, 2018, 06:13:04 PM »
Here's to another heart-pumping development cycle! I've got high hopes for the future, and I can't wait to see the greatest MM8BDM version yet.

Yeah, it's not the best solution but Joy2Key works fine. Most Mega Man fangames have the same control scheme, so find one you like, set a decent dead zone for your controller so ladders and sliding don't annoy you, then enjoy.

68
Unfortunately, the only fangame I've enjoyed that had a Wily Capsule was Mega Man: Super Fighting Robot. I guess that becomes my default answer.
Rock Force and Rokko Chan end on fights that are similar to a Wily Capsule, but with different antagonists. Rock Force's final boss is a little underwhelming imo, but I remember Rokko Chan's being alright.

Guess people are kinda sick of them in general? I'm not sure.

Mega Man Discussion / Re: Mega Man 11

I don't do a lot of posting here (often times just because I forget the forums exist until muscle memory just has me typing "cutstuff" in my search bar), but I assure you that I've been ecstatic and hyped to the moon ever since its reveal back in... December?

This looks like the game I've been waiting eight years for. My favorite game of all time has always been and likely will always be Mega Man 9, and living in a reality where the series is progressing long past it is heartwarming and incredible for me. We've got like a month left, right? I can't wait.

My favorite master so far is Blast Man, I love his cheeky grin and his over the top attitude and how non-standard he is in comparison to other bomb-type robot masters. I'm really excited to get to know the ice master and the bio? master too, they seem like they're incredible.

I'm gonna drop by and say I'm really glad we got this thing out. I've had a blast working on the project, and I hope everyone enjoys!
MMRFDEA is second only to MM9TOR on "maps I had a blast making", so I'm looking forward to hearing what people think.

These are always incredibly fun to watch.

Looking forward to watching the runs, and hopefully to clear at some point lol

Very exciting - looking forward to seeing what people have to show!

I was actually talking about this with some others a little bit ago. Try this out and see if that works.
Go to these two directories in the MM8BDM-v5b.pk3 and delete the duplicate sprites at the following directories

"sprites/skins/MMKillers/enker/" - delete the first 52 entries
"sprites/effects/" - delete the duplicate PIXLA0.png
