When I was first into Zelda, I was sick and tired of the game over screen from Zelda 2 (I had seen it WAY too many times...), but I just chuckle looking back at it now, especially considering how much of a step down it is to look at old school Ganon.

I love TF2. I don't have the game and i am not old enough to play this, but i REALLY love the Man vs Machines. But REVERSE version.
Man, i love that Human Sentry Buster, 'cause he says something fun.
he says Dick as Loop and "Lets do it" as starting explode.

Rockman Mega World / Wily Wars: The charge-up sound of Atomic Fire. It really sounds like incoming nuclear annihilation.
The explosions in Zillion on the Master System sound pretty cool, too.

For some reason I like the sound of Thunder Beam in Mega Man 1. It always makes me want to shout out the phrase "Thunder Beam!" whenever I hear it because the animation and sound effect feels so lasting. I also like the sound effects of Crash Bomb in MM2 and Wily Wars especially when each bomb explodes. Even better if it explodes on an enemy.

The sound effect used for Bubble Bomb is hilarious and it's memorable to me.

Sure, this is an insane bump, but I remembered a thing.
No sound effect can match up to the pure awesomeness that is
Bowser's Laugh, from SMRPG
!
Well, as well as Mario's yell of shock from the same game, but I am unable to get a good rip of it due to it's absence in the debug menu.

It'd have to be the SFX from the Atari 2600 port of Donkey Kong.

There's a particular set of sound effects that I've always loved in TF2, and that's the sound effects that the control points make. It sounds like something I'd expect to hear in one of those games I played when I was younger, and it just feels so right to hear it.

Ever since I was younger and saw it used for the first time in my fight against Lance, I always thought the Hyper beam from Red & Blue sounded epic! (@ 0:17)

On a similar note to apachegrey's post.
The Red/Blue version of

sticks in my mind.
