I'll be interesred only if it's on PC.
It's already on PC, that's what it was originally coming out for but if it reach 2,2mil it will be released on consoles as well.

Man i've never seen so much praise for this game. Most of the things in game were never explained especially combat wise. I did play some tournament mode back in the day though. Still i rented it more than once so in a way i "liked" it.

I don't think you'll ever see this much praise for that game anywhere else, lol. I agree, the game's advanced mode was a little hard to figure out at first but it also had the simple mode that resembled standard tournament fighters a little more. There was also that option to play the boss fights RPG style. I remember the game being blindingly hard for me at first but I just powered through and mastered it.

I suggest you revisit it sometime, especially if you like beat 'em up/fighters, it's definitely one of those hidden gems :)

Well i made my buddy playthrough it, ofc we mostly made joke but he still finished it. Its one of those games that was changed to appeal more to the audience outside of Japan. Just look the Japanese version called "Hiryu No Ken" the characters are different looking.

Ultimate Fighter?

Yes. Freakin' YES! I used to play the tournament mode for hours with some of my friends, hell I even played that game for hours by myself. Wonderful story mode, a really unique counter and critical system, just a really out-there and great game.

The story mode was more of a beat 'em up with tournament fighter sections for the bosses. Oh and transformations complete with laser swords so you could fight against the power rangers from hell.

Good times.

I hate to be that "ignorant person" but...
What's the difference between OP's Saxton Hale mod and Classes Saxton. I've only been introduced to this a few days ago and i only played the classes one so...better ask than wonder.
Silversin was originally the developer of this version and, at some point, he stopped updating the "classes version" to speed up the main one (which soon Balrog and Tails took over).
Personally, classes are bad for any LMS-oriented mode (due to balance issues in terms of damage imput and dextery) and overrated (Come on! How often do you NOT see Classes "something" on top of the list?!).
I guess they are still looking for a way to forbid classes.
Saxton Hale classes is the only "classes something" i played and yeah its always on top of the list lately. Would like to try the non-classes one at some point.

Or better known as Solstice II in EU.

No, it was Equinox over here too. Check out the absurd box art!
At least the US box somewhat represented what was in the game. The Pal box? Not so much!
