Are there any MM8BDM servers hosting on Zandronum 3.1 dev?  For Macs running Big Sur, that's the only version that actually works.

Here here! I hadn't done story mode since v3b and thought it was mostly abandoned.  I played single player from start again and saw a LOT of work was done since then.  They got more dramatic with the camera and effects too.  The story gets darker as it goes on.

It's incredible this is just a fan made game.  It's so cleanly done.  Aside from the occasional double/triple transitions, I haven't seen a single flaw.

It manually takes time frame for the next version to come out. I hope COVID-19 doesn't ruined everything.

It is kind of a creepy coincidence how v5d ended and here we are dealing with a real life pandemic of our own.

I just played through it and a lot has changed since when I first did.  Last I played, the final battle of the original campaign had all the robot masters battle one by one in the same area amnd the doctors were locked in a cell.  This really cleaned up.

Lately I've had a pretty severe screen flickering bug.  It only happens with MM8BDM, and it happens both on the laptop and external display.  It persists after a reboot and switching between Apple and NVIDIA drivers.

Am I the only one having trouble with knight man's shield bash? I have to fire it twice.  First click takes the ammo, second click does the actual bash.

I want to transfer my game save from my mac to my pc.  I launch and run the game natively on my mac with doomseeker and I dont know where it stores the game save, nor do I know where to place it on my pc.

When I try and point slade3 at zandronum.app (I'm using OSX), it wont work.  I can load from the terminal or doomseker just fine.

I replaced the server with a fresh install of linux and a pre-built zandronum binary.  All better.  What is it about the raspberry pi that prevents that from working?

I was, and I had this issue, so I switched to my mac.  Same issue.  Tried it in windows.  Same issue.  My linux machine doesn't have this issue though.  SOmetimes, depending on the server, my mac plays fine too.

Weapons like Air shooter, which fire multiples, only fire left and center for me.  They do not fire to the right.  While I was hosting, someone pointed out to me this problem was affecting them too.  It doesnt matter if I am using a mod or vanilla.  Nothing fires right of center.  What's wrong?

I dont mean to nerco this thread, but if your router supports it, you could give zandronum priority over other traffic.  Look at QoS.  We use it at my place and it keeps everything in check, even when torrenting and watching netflix.

If your router doesn't have that feature but you are feeling brave, consider flashing it with tomato firmware or DD-WRT.  I prefer tomato, but get it from somewhere listed on linksysinfo.com.

While this wont magically give you better speed, it will mitigate the problem somewhat.
