I'm not sure if it'll make that big of a difference (or even a difference at all, but it's worth a shot) but try changing
class = "CloudMan"
to
class = "Cloudman"

It didn't work  :confused:

The class part itself works, the bot spawns as a Cloudman class, it just seems to ignore my skin and use the default Cloudman one.

I'm trying to test skins for cbm and also make some custom bots for fun, for some reason the bots that use cbm classes just use their default skin even tho I specified them not to!

The bot info:

Hello, today with the help of Ecl1p5e from the 8bdm discord I attempted at modifying CBM's(v9d) Splash Woman's Buff Icons, although possible by opening a server with that wad as an optional, you cannot use it in any way on servers without it, here's a few things I tried.

1. making a wad file with the correctly made sprites and including it in the mod pk3:
Not possible due to it making the mod incompatible with the server's one.

2. Loading it as a parameter:
Not possible due to it loading before the mod and getting replaced (same goes for putting it in the skins folder).

TL;DR
Attempted the above to replace hud icons for me online and it did not work.


The point
The point of this post is see if there is a possibility of client side hud sprite modification and if it even exists (that being you being able to modify your hud sprites only for yourself and use it in any server)

Help & Editing / Slade not saving offsets

[SOLVED]

Fix: If Slade refuses to save your offsets, simply delete the sprite from the pk3 and re-import it using the import button, adjust the offset manually and save the sprite by selecting another file (click another file and click yes on the save prompt) then save the pk3 with Ctrl+S, you have to do it one by one unfortunately  :| .

Hello, I'm finishing a skin and it has very odd variations in width so simply centering it won't suffice, the problem is Slade refuses to save any changes in my offsets! I used Trillster's skin generator for the naming and auto set their offsets to Monster (GL friendly), lowered all of their heights to 1 lower then went to adjust all of them manually. Only for me to save (the sprites) then click on the save icon at the top left just to make sure then close the pk3 and come back to all of them having my manual changes undone.

[Update]
I tried instead, saving them by selecting another sprite like someone recommended me and it worked... for one frame, and the others magically reverted their offsets to when I set them to monster (GL friendly)

Now I want to know if anyone else ever had this issue with Slade, I didn't change any settings except for the font being monospace (which it also reset for some reason lol)

Yo, you can rip the songs from the wad with SLATE (If you downloaded a pk3 just open it with GCFscape and find the map WAD), although they are not named you can try just converting them into videos and uploading all of them to youtube on a dummy account and see what the copyright algorithm does lol :mrgreen:. I am sure there is an efficient way of doing that but I do not know how to, if you're particularly techy maybe you know. Anyways, just throwing an idea out there.
