Double-post, I know, but I've finished Poppy Bros. Senior, and as always I'd like to collect thoughts about it sooner rather than later.

Poppy Bros Sr. is looking pretty good-- I'll take a closer look at him when I get the chance!  Sorry to have been away for so long!

Mr. Bright looks pretty nice, too!  Rocking that white outline
I think that he really could use a less shuffly walk, though, if possible.  The front and back angles look a little funny, too-- maybe too wide?  Here are some 3D-ish images I found around on the internet, if that's any help.

Alternately, you could just use that animation technique where a character is always from the side, so that you see the crescent moon shape from each angle, while the face and limbs kind of slide around.  Homestar Runner is the first example of this that comes to mind, but I'm sure I've seen that in other cartoons, too.

Anyways, unless you can show me the walking sprites you have in mind, I'll just use the shuffling walking sprites he already has. Otherwise, I could make his feet look like he is hovering instead of shuffling if that would be a better choice of walking sprites, or maybe just remove his feet when he moves.

Hmm I guess I could make his front and back sprites a little more slimmer. Also thanks for the images, they may help me figure out how to shape is body for the perfect shape for him!

Nah, using that kind of animation on Mr. Bright seems kind of lazy unless it would be better off this way. Nintendo actually did this to him in Kirby Mass Attack.

I'll be pretty busy with finals and such for the next few weeks, but if I get the chance, I can try to do some walking sprites to get you started, Kage-- I definitely think that he should walk, since he has legs, but I also think that something more lively would be better, even though it is a bit harder to do.  I think you're right about the perspective thing, though; any way that you decide to do it is fine with me, as long as it looks natural.  Thanks for keeping things going!

[EDIT: Actually, after thinking about it a bit, I think some form of floating might be okay, too, since he's supposed to be the moon anyway.  What do you think?  As long as it looks natural, it would probably be all right.]

Also, I'd definitely appreciate anything you'd like to do, PeanutTechno!  If it helps, I can send over DarkAura's Kracko Jr. skin, so that you can borrow the eye from it.  That way would be the most consistent, I guess.  Thanks!

I know you wish more for maps and weapons instead of skins, but I saw that Twizzy didn't seem to have been taken in the OP. So I decided to start progress on him.

I don't know what I'm gonna do with the firing frames (maybe have him flap his wings at you?), and the front frames are kinda odd, but I'll try to make it look better.
Tell me if you think I should continue.

EDIT: Finished, and sent to Super Bondman 64. The firing frames look kinda... Wonky, considering there were no firing frames available that I could find (Not even from Kirby Super Star!), so I had to improvise.

Paragonx9, most anything you want to take a stab at on the front page should be good, as long as it isn't taken.  There are a couple of things that are done or in-progress that aren't on there yet, but I'll try to update the main page once I get the chance.  There are tutorials and templates for how to make stuff in the Tutorials subforum, too.
