Title: MM8BDM Textures as images

Is it possible I can find textures as image files (png, jpeg etc.)? If so, where?

Using SLADE3 or whatever your preferred WAD editor of choice is, open MM8BDM-v5d.pk3, open one of the maps inside, and all the map's textures will be in that file. You can then select whichever ones you want to grab and Export them to a folder.

I mean as collection of textures.
