Not very much information for an event...

What other files (maps, mods, weapons) will be added, if any?
What will the server be named, or what should we be looking for?
What's the game type? How about a maximum player pool?

There will be a classes mod, depending on the number of people who would like to have it.
I will leave it up to the public to choose which classes mod(if any)they would like.
The server will be named simply"Screw Scramble",will be a team deathmatch game,
and max players will be 20-30.The extra map packs will be AMP map pack and
CSCM map pack.Did I miss anything?

As opposed to dying over and over again because the enemy is using a better class?

Or losing all the screws because the enemy is using quickman?

That just means everyone will be using the fast classes. Quick, Slash, Gyro, Charge.

If it only depends on your class, then it's even less of a competition. Just pick the best class and you win.

Vanilla is for more competitive players; it relies heavily on skill and concentration throughout the match.

Classes is a more casual game since the skill factor is diminished quite a bit; it's not too great for competitive players.

Believe me; there are game modes in which classes are functional and enjoyable with, and then there are some that just defeat the purpose. Screw Scramble is an example of the latter.

Vanilla isn't as skill-based as you think since it often comes back to 'whoever uses the best ______ wins', but there's still some degree of skill needed to use the weapons effectively.

I never did enjoy classes. It's a bit too much for my taste. The 'spam this function to win' on many of the classes diminishes the fun factor, since it's not really about how fun the classes are to use, it's how good the classes are at winning matches. Balancing can be quite difficult, but then again I have yet to play classes extensively. Never did care for that kind of modification. Although I will admit that the non-YD/KY classes are far more enjoyable. Perhaps you might consider using other class modifications that aren't KY/YD for a change.

Screw Scramble on its own is a slightly intolerable game mode. Pick up screws, run to wherever the face your robot spawned and drop off screws in exchange for some easily-lost upgrade. The monotony is balanced out by dying to the enemy or to a stage hazard, either losing your screws and the match or losing your screws forever.
Different classes might be suited for different game modes. Go try other classes out besides the overused mainsteam class mod(s).

Blah, but what's my meaningless opinion on a one-day event? Steamenza is OP enough as it is.

Edit: I just realized that this event overlaps with Bluebrawl's Deathmatch Mappack Party thing. You might lose a good bit of support from the community in favor of some good-old-fashioned DM on various map packs.
