To celebrate this thanksgiving (sort of) im hosting a Saxton hale server, that includes...
-cscc(Cut Stuff Community Classes)
-cbc (Copy Bot Classes)
-me/my(not-me) class
-zards class,
-Duora's map pack
-EMP(eon's map pack)
-and various other underrated map packs, that you dont see hosted all that often!

the event will (hopefully) start later today around 3:00 pm-7:00 pm EST(where i live), now that i figured out what was causing all the issues the very few people who actually made it to my server witnessed (XP), plus the files only 9.09 MB, but this time around it only includes the files i changed so that this whole thing would work out w/o bugs or errors.

A REASON
why no YD/KY classes? heres your answer:

REAL REASON
*im not including YD/KY classes cause those are/where hosted alot more frequently then cscc, plus that would kind of defeat the purpose of this(I.E.Giving thanks to the community)*

I think you'd see a lot more activity if you hosted vanilla Saxton Hale.

If you're wondering why I said that, the reason is NeoDS and Beed's Barrage Missiles both have acs script 700 in them. You're better off either using V2D or waiting for a fix unless its already fixed, otherwise good luck.

Also dear god that file is large. Good thing I already downloaded it on a laptop.  :ugeek:

thats the old file though, and WHO said the event was just on the day of thanksgiving? i wasnt going for any 1 particular day <_>

Dude, dude, dude,... Scrap the classes overall. Use it classless, it is more fair for both Hale and Survivors. Because Dharic bowls bosses all across the stages, Arnon eats a lot of their health with almost hitscan shots and half of the MKs pretty much breaks the balance, with MK Seizure being the worst.

As long as CSCC is involved, I'm out. I tolerated CBC only because it didn't really change things too much aside from extra classes. However, I'm also considering stopping CBC as well due to yet MORE coming in. The point when CBC got away from version 1 was when it turned from "a neat concept" to a "tolerable experience".

I had played Yellow Devil's classes before when it was MM3 only and had some fun as Gemini Man, and at first liked it when other classes came in, but when a bunch more classes came up, it suddenly got less fun because there was a lot of different classes to keep track of, especially when playing against them. That was when I became an anti-classes kind of person, and I still am now. I also know classes tend to get heavily unbalanced quickly, and the reason I prefer vanilla matches are due to your skills being tested, not necessarily trying to find your opponent's weakness (and I'm talking the characters, not the person) and exploit it. This is also why in SRB2, for example, I no longer do Match or anything like that because I use a character (Tails in the SRB2 case) that is not too good for that kind of mode. I prefer things to be balanced rather than having some classes be really fun while others are not. Now, I am aware Saxton Hale will be getting its own set of classes soon, so I will have to see how they are, but for the most part they did not sound too different from the "Megaman" class I prefer playing as.

CBC had kept the classes somewhat balanced for a while, but once the custom characters got in, it started going down the very same path as YD's classes as well. People will disagree with me about classes in general, of course, but if anyone was ever curious why I no longer do classes, now they know. I think I understand now why classes were not the focus when MM8BDM was first made (my memory is fuzzy, but I thought I remember the staff talking about it way before YD did his classes). But regardless, I continue to wish the developers of ANY extra content luck in whatever else they have planned, since the community is pretty good when they are dedicated to their work.
