Title: 2ND PERSON Chasecam
Post by: Bitblocker on May 14, 2020, 12:01:33 AM
I know how to use a chase cam, but I have seen people use it in 2nd person, (a.k.a looking at your characters face, not their back). HOW I DO THIS? I HAVE SEARCHED FOR AGES... :(

To my knowledge, that is not an option.
Then again, why would it be, there isn't much point during gameplay.

If you want to see your character's face, there's the mirror in Light Labs. A great reference, that mirror.

Go to 1:03 in the video, hm? See, it's true.
There's a reward of 300 E-tanks if anyone finds it out...

Oh that!
Yeah, that's actually changing the viewpoint to that of the training bot's.
It's actually a cam spy thing, I believe.

Actually during that part in the video, it's only seen like that because Dynamoman only has his front sprite shown during that healing animation.

So, how do I do it, outside of a classes mod?

There is no 2nd person chasecam. Like FTX6004 said, this was simply the result of Dynamo Man not having a back sprite when he's healing. If you look at the video, you can see that the camera perspective doesn't change.

I AM ABSOLUTELY SURE I SEEN IT WITHOUT THE MIRROR IN THE LAB. NOCLASSES.

There is not presently a way to look at yourself in the face without using a mirror or the perspective of another player.
In the training mode, you can press "F12" by default to change your camera's viewpoint. It'll make you see through Sniper Joe's eyes.

Someone make a mirror mod yo I mean how hard can it be? Just place a camera infront of the player and map it to a button, easy lol :D
