Trying to connect to a server, but I keep getting this error:

Script error, "mm8bdm-v4c.pk3:actors/player/megaman.txt" line 19:
"player.maxskinsizefactor" is an unknown actor property

I'm not sure what to do here. Any help would be appreciated!

Tutorial Collection / I need assistance making classes!

If someone would be so kind as to either provide a link to a tutorial or give step by step instructions to get the basics started, that would be awesome. I have the template, SLADE, and I have the lines for the bot of my class down. Now what?

Hello! Friendly neighborhood whackjob here, and I have a rather strange request.

I've been doing some thinking about some of the game modes, and I noticed something.

There hasn't been a cops and robbers game mode.
So, I set out to make one!
Unfortunately, I'm a blithering idiot and forgot I don't know how to make game modes.
Especially one this complex.

So, I'm here to request it/throw the idea out for critique!

Here's how it would work:

There would be two teams. The cops, and the robbers.

The cops would be a class, using the Fake Man skin. They would have three weapons. The revolver buster, the handcuffs, and the keys.
The Revolver Buster would have two attacks.

Main fire: A simple buster shot, about as strong as the Mega Buster.

Secondary fire: When fired, it launches a shot that stops whoever it hits from moving, for 30 seconds. It has a fairly short range, so be quick about catching up to the target.

The handcuffs are a melee weapon that when used on a target, they are sent to jail. (More on that in a bit.)

The keys are capable of unlocking cells in prison, and also can unlock handcuffs. Note that when the cop that used the handcuffs on a prisoner uses the secondary fire, the prisoner would have to follow the cop.

Now, onto the Robbers.

The robbers would use either a Colton skin or a Sniper Joe skin.

Their weapons consist of the Pistol Buster and a punch weapon.

Pistol Buster: Half as strong as Revolver Buster, but can rapid fire unlike the Revolver. (Because that makes sense.)

Punch: Just what it says. It doesn't do a whole lot of damage, but it can hit fairly fast.

The objective of this gamemode is simple. There are a maximum of 10 people on each team. The goal? The cops need to stop the robbers from taking money back to their base and arrest them, and the Robbers must avoid capture. Fairly simple. Now, I mentioned a prison. Yes. The handcuffs are only meant to be used on certain maps made for this game mode. Because when used, they teleport the prisoner to a cell in the prison, the base of the cops. There would be vehicles, of course.

Once the goal is completed on either team, the round starts again.

So, it's basically an enhanced, one-sided CTF that could have RP potential as well.

Now, I realize this would be fairly hard to make. It would still be a Hell of a lot easier than the Kirby Konversion idea I had, though. I'm just throwing out there in case some talented individual comes along and decides to make it.

Whenever I try to join the Montreal Saxton Hale, it says the server is running 2.1.1 an that mine is different. It does this every time. How can I fix this?

EDIT: SORRY! I MEANT 1.2.2.

MM8BDM Discussion / [REQUEST] Kirby Konversion

Okay. So this is PROBABLY the wrong section of the forum to post this in. But I don't think it belongs in Help and Suggestions...

ANYWAYS! So, I was playing Kirby Super Star Ultra, when I thought: Wow. An FPS Kirby would be cool. So I started thinking about what it would look like, and I came to a realization: It would be REALLY similar to MM8BDM! So I decided I would make a mod for it. But then I remembered: Being the idiot that I am, I forgot that I had no idea how to make a mod. So here I am! Humbly requesting that someone makes some kind of class conversion for Kirby, similar to Max's class-based modification. It could be called something like Kirby Konversion. What I was thinking was that there would be a different class for each enemy, obviously with the power of said enemy. Kirby would essentially be Mega Man, but he would need to use his own WEAPON to get the powers of the other players. Of course, this is a stupid idea and would take far too much time to make, so I apologize. I just wanted to share this with the community!

Rejected / [Suggestion!] Super Adventure Rockman!

So, I've been thinking. For once. And I wanted to ask...Will there be a Super Adventure Rockman expansion? Because, put simply, I think the game needs it. For one, it's technically part of the series canon. For two, I am not asking that it be implemented where it takes place in canon. I mean, like, for AFTER MM10, you could include it. Now, you're probably thinking: Well, this is just not a very good idea because [Insert perfectly reasonable reason here]. True. The reason I decided to suggest this is because A. It's already part FPS. B. It would add an interesting aspect to the game, because of Ra Moon's blackout. This could have interesting (But presumably optional) effects on the Hub map, and some VERY interesting gameplay mechanics for the maps. Now, keep in mind, this is a SUGGESTION. So while I don't mind you not accepting this, I would like to know why so I know not to suggest whatever it is I suggested again. Cool? Cool.

Or, Challengers from the future. HonHonHon. Kidding. (Am I?)

Rejected / MM8BDM v4 Health Meter? [Not A Bug]

So, I'm having a bit of an issue. Whenever I start up my game, I always spawn into the Lab with no health. I give myself an E-Tank, and everything is good, right? Nope. I joined a story map, and my health was empty again! It happens no matter WHAT I do. So, may I request some assistance please?
