So all Gamestop stores in P.R. closed up and left because of a serious tax issue, from what I've heard. I mean, there's always Walmart and the like, but it was kinda convenient having a Gamestop at walking distance even if I don't buy games nearly as much anymore.

On the other hand, fuck their used game prices. Those won't be missed.

the second sentence make me laugh hard because I remember when i went to the videogames shop "micromania" in France, some years ago..... their "used games" and others stuff were so expensive.
Then i started to buy more on steam or on amazon (DVD games and others), even with shipping, often less expensive....but yeah, need a bank card for it.  
But yeah, those shops need money to survive (especially nowadays) but well, not a good deal for people, sometimes...

I hope nothing happens to the EB Games stores around my area

They're the only stores around here that are actually good at stocking new amiibo. Wal Mart usually does not have most of them, and Best Buy rarely has newly released ones at any point. And thanks to Target taking over Zellers and then going away, we don't even have a "Target equivalent" store any more
There's also an EB Games that is a short bus ride away from my place, so it is super convenient, haha

Not even kidding about their used game prices. Right up until the last day GBA games were sold used, the Pokemon games were all still at $35, which is $5 less than a brand new one when it was still cool. Hell, Pokemon HG/SS games were at over $50 used, even though B/W and X/Y were a thing already.

I remember all too well my struggle of getting SoulSilver. Saw one in store, which was over £30. Same for all the other copies on eBay. The other games Gen4-5 are all £10-£20. Wouldn't have been a problem for me if I wasn't so short on money at the time.

Next week it'll probably be time to get a Wii U. A new Star Fox game has been released. That's the main reason.

Oh man, thanks for reminding me that I have to get that on my 3DS. Someone brought their GBA SP while I was working over in Alaska, and they had that game. That's pretty much all I played in my (relatively non-existent) free time.

I have it on my 3DS. I'm above using whatever the savestates were called.

For the past half a year I've been working on a new game mode. I want to get most of it done before publicly showing it.

Do Gearbox try to remove the last port We have, for Duke Nukem 3D? I don't play this game actually (i did it often in the past), but it seems, they try to ruin all the games of Duke Nukem except the one they have made (and who is bad): Duke Nukem Forever....

You see why i think, new companies doesnt have the same mentality than some like Id Software in the 90's, things change so much....Money, materialisme and mobsters win'

I don't know why I'm still drawn into this forum, even though I have long since given up on this game.
Could very well be nostalgia or somethin' along those lines.

All the not-so-smart comments and creations, organized fun past events, scandals, people shifts, and even my own duel weapon tier list is just so many memories behind it all.

Yeah... now that I think about it, it's probably an unhealthy dose of nostalgia I'm sufferin' from. I'll go see a doctor about nostalgia poisonin'.
