Help & Editing / Help making Teleporters exclusive to gamemodes

Okay, I feel a little embarrassed that I didn't see this part of the forums at first before asking my question beforehand. Anyways:

I want to make a teleporter in my map that connects the leftmost part of it to my rightmost part of the map, the issue being that in gamemodes like CTF, I want the flags on the leftmost and rightmost parts. That being said, I hope to exclude this teleporter from working and instead make a noise signifying that you can't teleport in CTF, which I'm pretty sure is possible with scripting, I just don't know how to do that with MM8BDM. Can I get some help?

What sorts of tags are we talking about?

https://zdoom.org/wiki/Audio_loop these bad babies, placed directly at the end of my OGG files, but you're right, I'm gonna try them without the tags.

Just tried it, no even without the ogg tags it does not play the music for some reason.

Well there's an easy answer for this.

Just don't use regular Doombuilder. Like, there is: Doombuilder 2, GZDoombuilder, and Ultimate Doombuilder.
I use the latter since it's the most updated, but the others are perfectly acceptable too, and I don't know how much Doombuilder differs from the other newer ones, but I'm guessing a lot, and I'm assuming they're probably a lot more user-friendly.

Maps / Why won't my map play my custom music?

I've just started a map, and I need help, but I can't find a MM8BDM Discord or anything, so I'd like to ask for help here.

So, I've just did exactly what you'd normally do when adding music to a level, and even made sure with a tutorial on making maps specifically for MM8BDM.
Everything's exactly how there should, I checked it for typos heavily, and yes my music option is all the way up. I would give a screenshot of what I mean, but I'm not used to Forum Boards and I have no idea how.

The most I could think about is how I tried to make my music loop in a certain way using ZDooM music loop tags, but I don't know why it wouldn't work because of some darn tags.

EDIT: I just realized I'm dumb, I should probably provide the MAPINFO.

Favorite game mode: I've only done one gamemode, and that's arena, because i have no one else to play with
Favorite weapon: Easily flame sword
prefered skin: Hot head, if i can use mods, without mods i like fire man
Favorite stage: Oil man, not only are there so many fire weapons, but i love to trap bots in oil and then light it on fire.
Favorite class: I dont even know how to change your class
Greatest Rival: No one, i don't tdo online because i don't have anyone to play with.
Reputation: Same as above
anything else?: Seeing splash womans stage in mega man 9 (the game, not in MM8BDM, the game itself) makes me puke.

The binary code in the quit menu makes NO sense but is pretty funny! it says | Plug Man: Hi Iet! | please tell what it means! also, is there any other secrets in the game? i would REALLY want to know!
