I approve of this project, as it is something that I had try to do myself from time to time. I did look through the code, and it seems you actually made the whole from scratch, rather than adapt my old mess of a KotH code, which is fairly impressive. It has my support.

A giant hill?

Grab CSCM's Green Hill Zone and make it a KOTH map. Close off the Wily/Light spawn rooms so only the respective teams can enter.

Would it be possible to modify this gamemode to Arena?

Also, someone needs to make Harvest or Lakeside (_Event ,minus the roulette) for this.

Here's a bug, I think it might of been reported already but whatever, from my observations if someone gets onto the point when the point does not belong to a team yet and spectates, the point can not be captured by the other team thus makin' it unwinnable for yar foes this way. Also just a suggestion to make the "resupply lockers" more useful is to add a respawn wait time, that way not JUST the health and ammo layin' around would suffice for a team's stayin' power on a point.

Some stuff to say about this:

-Ammo refill rate for each weapon needs to be balanced for this to work smoothly. As they all stand right now, they're very, VERY DM-centric. A way too high damage output and some gimmicky weapons make both defending and attacking way too easy or way too hard depending on the map, and the very generous ammo refill rate just doesn't help even if the map layout is ok.

-Map-wise, some rules of thumb for this: no spawn points near the gray point, ammo and life pickups need to be scarce or have a longer respawn time so the resupply locker isn't useless, ammo and life pickups should be far from the central point and not right next to it, capping rate needs to be really slow overall (maybe 30 seconds is enough, wether 1 or 5 teammates are on it or not).

Also, this should totally have an announcer, and it should totally be me :)

I would challenge Musashi for the position of being the announcer--my voice remains an enigma here, but it's pretty good--but the only mic I have access to has bad quality, so okay, whatever.

One more thought that hasn't been mentioned--I don't suppose it's possible to get the "Dr. Whatever Team is Winning" to look a little cleaner on the score display?  I can understand if it's not, but those ticks flying by at 35 Points every second (Or however long a tick was again) looks...so unprofessional.

Also, is this compatible with 4-Team CTF Maps?

Also this mode works suprisingly well with all of the maps people hate for CTF. I found it to be enjoyable on MMCTF01.

I love all the comments as if KoTH was originally TF2 game mode. <.<

Doom2 has a similar game mode called domination, which 8BDM does not use by defult (though Doura? made a few maps using it), maybe set this to over-ride domination instead of 1F-CTF which is used by 8BDM.

As for maps, I think deathmatch maps tend to make good KoTH maps, I need to test this still to see how you made it work though in case it isn't similar to how I think.

I thought Domination was a mod. If it was default, it would show up in the MM8BDM mode loadout (like Invasion and Skulltag), right?

8BDM just isn't compatible with it due to the maps not being so.
