Yeah bass44, i was sure, when i have seen ben 10, it could be a cartoonish childish for babies in diaper style'....too hard to get a real anime :/

Mega Man's been redesigned so many times in so many different series that it's unhealthy to go EWWW RUINED DEAD DISGUSTING every time he changes

Seems like they're going with classic series and....well, this won't appeal to those who loved the games.

As it stands, I have a feeling the Ruby Spears cartoon would be more worth watching. I can't believe I actually just said that.

They're both trying to appeal to a newer audience, which is understandable. Spandex looks stupid for an armor-like getup anyway. As long as it looks better on camera.

Obviously, retaining the essence of the classics is the main thing. Oh, and not kicking and screaming if it doesn't.

Oh hey, we were right when guessing Protodude's vague hints on what the new cartoon was about 2 monhs ago: Mega Man goes to school.

Honestly though, I wasn't expecting a lot from the creators of Ben 10, but this falls right up their alley (Silicon City? Nanotech armor? Aki? School? That design? It screams Ben 10), and it's honestly less worse than what I expected because I set the bar realllllll low on this one. I'll perhaps watch it one day at random, not really going to invest myself in a cartoon that clearly wasn't made for me (I'm not a parent, though I did grow up with videogames so maybe it'll strike a nerve, which is why I'll watch it...whenever I catch it), but for these days' kids.

That design isn't so bad when you know it's for a modern kids cartoon show. I don't know why but it reminds me of this style. Oh yeah and also Mega Man's been redesigned so many times you should already be expecting something different without complaining about it. It's been like this since BN/Legends, might as well not be like this anymore.

At least it's 100% better than what they did to Roll...

I personally think the new design isn't too far off from the norm and the series itself has potential. Just sit back and let things happen, I guess.
If it's not good, so what? Does it really change your life? No. Does it make your life worse with it being there? No.
It's just a cartoon, it's just a new universe/timeline.

And even then, we don't have that much information. You're making irrational judgements based on information from a second hand news article.

I'm fairly certain it's geared towards the same demographic as Sonic Boom and the Pac-Man reboot show.

As in, the newer generation that didn't grow up with the older Mega Man stuff.

Admittedly I'm a little disappointed, since I was expecting something similar to the Archie comics, where it mostly adhered to the classic continuity while introducing a healthy level of new characters to enhance it. From what I'm seeing, it's something entirely different. If it turns out to be good in its own right, then hey, that's cool, but I don't see myself being very invested in it.

One thing I can say with certainty, however, is that art style is decidedly gross.
