Fishing in Breath of Fire 4.
It just had a calming effect on me.

Quote from: "The Killer Nacho"
Megaman 9 and 10 perfect runs. This may not seem pointless at first, but after that many hours of work... trust me, it was pointless.
I remember EVENTUALLY clearing the game on Hard Mode as Protoman. The combo of that difficulty setting and that character makes the Wily stages become hell.

Never again. From that point on it's either Hard Mode or Protoman.

Normally an extremist gamer like me would like this sort of challenge but no, this challenge just isn't worth it. I'd feel better off doing an X6 minimalist run >_>.

Most pointless thing I've ever done.

Playing, streaming the Jetsons SNES game to the very end, absolutely nothing rewarding.

Made me want to quit gaming forever, god I got so pissed off.

Especially considering I had previously BEFORE that streamed other Hanna Barbera related games such as the Flintstones games, which were WAY better, geez.

The inclusion of the dreaded Cucco to my MUGEN rooster roaster roster.(Is MUGEN even considered a game?)

Because I saw vids of those things. Not only is it funny to put a chicken in the battlefield...

Playing the first disc of FFVII. Really wish I could have skipped everything on that disc.

Some may view this as pointless... I played through Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim without ever using fast travel.

Maxing out my gold in Shovel Knight. Though really, it wasn't that difficult thanks to Alchemy Coin spam whenever possible.  :ugeek:

In Minecraft, creating a Caves of Chaos world in 1.8 and then destroying as much of the land as you can.

Also, using an empty bucket in Creative Mode to completely drain lava pools.

Recently?
Rayman 2: The Great Escape on Nintendo 64 - collecting all 1000 lums.
[Yes 1000, thanks Blathers.]
It was painful but somehow worth in a really weird way.
