Invigorated after taking a brief period to rest, Black Death walked calmly towards the blue titan.
"Prepare yourself. You face death itse-"
Death's boast was cut short by an enormous explosion and the sudden appearance of the villainous Steiner. Death watched silently as the following events took place, his cold gaze following Steiner's movements closely.
As Death attempted to right himself, Needle Asylum spoke out against the coated man.
"Hey!  You get back here!"
After some brief fiddling with her helmet, she turned to face the toppled party.
"Sorry about earlier, folks, but it looks like we've got bigger stuff to worry about.  The big dude oughta beat a hasty retreet, but the rest of you, come join me!"
Death chuckled then spoke, his voice booming.
"That's a notion I can agree with. Let us fight and leave behind a trail of the fallen!"

ACTION: Destroy all lesser machines!

Picking himself up from the explosion, Ace saw the little spat between Bomber and Steiner. As Steiner was leaving drones started to rush in and that worried Ace. From a quick look, the evacuation was going relatively okay, so Ace turned his attention to the drone squad. Their leader and his grand plan he was hinting at could wait till later, taking the drones out now to make sure they didn't do anything was the top priority.
"Let's clear out these things before someone gets hurt. We can deal with that Steiner person afterwards."

Get ready for a brawl

"Hey! Is anyone here hurt!?"

One pair of entrance doors was shoved wide open by a gruff-looking man with a five o'clock shadow, wearing a blue coat and black jeans. He held a long, slender blade, continuously humming and glowing a dark blue. The man motioned toward the drones with his blade, urging two others to follow him and enter the arena. To his left was a blonde-haired girl who looked to be about 20, dressed in red; to his right, a salty old sailor with a large, formidable presence.

The gruff man snapped. "You! Blue hair! What happened here!?"

"I'm not sure! Steiner broke through the wall, there's drones here--"

"Steiner!?" the girl gasped. "But this isn't like him!"

The gruff man ran up to the group preparing to fight. "Save your breath. It's time to slash first. Ask questions later."

"Aye," the sailor huffed.

The Admiral removed a pipe from his uniform pocket and lit it. Huffing and puffing thoughtfully, he sized up the opposition before turning to the man in the suit.
"Ahoy there, whatsit -- Land Shark or somethin' -- think there's somethin' you could tell us about this here suit motif, perhaps?"

Ashley raised up her right foot, allowing the familiar spikes to shoot out.  Rather than kicking, though, she dug the spikes into the ground to act as cleats.  She shifted her weight onto her right foot and pointed both cannons at the enemy party.

"It appierce that you don't quite get the point.  Good thing I'm such a great teacher!"

"Ahoy there, whatsit -- Land Shark or somethin' -- think there's somethin' you could tell us about this here suit motif, perhaps?"
Ace thought abut it for a moment, but nothing concrete came to mind. Nothing special had immediately jumped out at him besides the suits, so all he had to work on was that until he saw the drones in action.
"You've caught the motif so you probably know as much as I do. We've got Spades and Clubs here so there's probably Hearts and Diamonds. If I had to guess, each suit corresponds with a different attack method. Something like Clubs crush, Spades Slash, Diamonds shoot and Hearts grapple. Though the red suits may act as support or something like that, I need more information on these guys to make a better guess."
With that said Ace took a look at the Spade Knight. Going under his own assumptions that thing was extremely dangerous to him, so he paused for a moment to find a gap in its armor, then let his card fly.

As the Spade Knight's lance connected with armor, a dull reverb echoed throughout the area.  Ashley, barely fazed by the ferocious attack, let out a haughty laugh before raising her busters and gunning the poor drone down.  Another attack conducted by the first Club Knight whiffed entirely, causing Ashley's chuckle to increase to hysteric shrieking.  After a good fifteen seconds of mocking laughter, she managed to compose herself enough to speak.

"Ohoho... Oh, man, these guys are terrible at their jobs.  Hey, I'll go for the one that looks healthier-- one of you folks should pick off the other one before he picks himself off!  Ahahahaha!"

Though a bit disappointed his strikes didn't fell the knight, Death did not linger on it for long; he instead turned his attention towards a healthier foe, hoping his teammates would back him up.
Before springing at the foe, he shouted to his allies. "Suited man; the loud one and I can handle these whelps. Finish the weakened ones!"

As the Spade Knight charged and revealed a lance, Ace realized the specifics of his guess were off. Committed to the attack he let the card fly and with an extreme barrage from his armored ally, the Spade Knight went down just in time for Ace to be slammed in the side by one of its friends. While Asylum was laughing off the damage she took from the Spade earlier, Ace stumbled backward from the blow, alarms and damage assessments resonating in his head. One more good hit like that from an enemy and his frame would be compromised to a point of emergency shutdown. Asylum then offered a plan of attack and since the naval officer had already agreed to it, Ace mumbled an affirmative then prepared to strike. Ace figured he could strike before the other Club, so even if it took him down, the officer's strike might finish off the one he would weaken further.
