Okay so I was confused... but now I got the weapon, a quick fix for you Mikey.Should be a "windup" time before shooting the freeze cracker where it forms, like hard knuckle. It was like that in MM7 and I expected it to be there...nice work, btw. Still can't find it without cheating.

This doesn’t feel Mega Man enough! Are you gonna change it?No. Originally the game WAS more Mega Man like (no mouse look, damage recoil and invincibility, more platforming, slower movement etc) but there was a problem: It just simply WASN’T fun. If you don’t believe me, dig up the alpha version and give it a try. Introducing some doom like aspects such as weapon pickups, level layouts and gameplay style (mostly speed), made the game more like Doom yes, but a lot more frantic and fun. If you want to try and make the mod more “Mega Many” in the future by all means try!
