Alright folks, it's now been 2 weeks since the bracket stage began, and progress has been good! As usual I'll be floating around checking in with everyone and trying to organize matches. As I do this, please remember that as I'm doing this, I'm just trying to make sure that things stay active and progressing. The most important thing I need from anyone I talk to is just clear communication of availability. Also, please try to take more initiative in contacting your opponents on your own. In the meantime, some announcements.

Reminder that BE servers now run on Zandronum 2.1, so you'll need to update to play.

That being said, a health desync bug has been found in version 2.1. The short version of this is that sometimes it will look like health is healing double what it should be. That is, while your client may say you have 90 health, you may actually only have 50, for example. This doesn't actually affect gameplay directly because the server has your correct health, but of course not knowing how much health you actually have is a problem in Duel. Of course I will keep up to speed with any updates on this matter, and one way or another I will address its impact on us within a day.

Probably though we'll just have to wait and hope the desync gets addressed soon, one way or another.
