Yes, basically relaying the events of the previous games, plus the Wily Chapter.
Each chapter having it's own eight robots to defeat and claim weapons from (no Wily stages yet)
At the end of each chapter, Light will take Mega Man's weapons and store them for later.
After the Mega Man Killers are beaten, Mega Man can take a weapon from each chapter into the Skull Fortress. (a-la Wily Tower)
Stage 1 Boss: Weapons Archive MkII (just like the first one, except the data of the Robot Master is random for each chapter, plus MM10)
Music: RM8FC Wily Stage 1
Stage 2 Boss: Dark Man 4 (Revenge for his defeat in Mega Man 5! Always an interesting fight!)
Music: MM10 Wily Stage 2
Stage 3 Boss: Yellow Devil (what would a Mega Man game be without this guy, huh?)
Music: MM3 Wily Stage 2
Stage 4 Boss: Bass (Mega Man or Proto Man as player) or Mega Man? (Bass as player)
Music: MM9 Wily Stage 2
-Here, Wily escapes to his Space Node (a-la GB series)
Space Node Boss: Wily Machine X, Wily Capsule, and Wily Skull Suit (yes, he's NOT playing soccer this time)
Other features would include:
Cutscenes within each chapter, plus a mode where you can play those cutscenes back!
Multiple player characters (not like MMPU, god no... too complicated) such as Mega Man, Proto Man, and Bass
Challenge mode, a la MM10
Boss Rush for each chapter (plus, for those hardcore gamers, ALL bosses in one run)
Special Stages featuring Quint and the Stardroids (with swipe-able weapons, of course)
Multiplayer Mode featuring Light, Wily, Cossack, and X Teams, plus an online capability
CD Collection, a la MM&B
Basically, one massive game to satiate Mega Man fans, and possibly, the end to the series (it's not like we WANT Mega Man to end. but still...)
And the most important part...
All in 8-bit!!!
