Title: Thank you.
Post by: Anonymous on October 19, 2010, 03:41:18 AM
I really can't put it into words, but seriously, Mike, and everyone that was involved in this game's creation, thank you so much. The experience is amazing.

I always loved classic Mega Man the best, and I hoped a while back that one day all of us would be able to play it online together, in one form or another. I didn't expect though, for it to come so soon. Everything in the game is so well thought out and polished, it's just pure bliss.

Sorry for this thread, haha, I just could not withhold my emotions. <3

Haha, it's no problem, everyone here appreciates the kind words. We had just as much (...okay, not as much, to say) fun putting this thing together, I'm glad you enjoy it!

It's been a blast helping make it.  Now it's a whole new type of blast playing it!

You only did one skin? I coulda sworn you did more. Though, I always get you and Namo mixed up for some reason.

I did Gyro Man, gave up after some Gravity Man, and started doing Napalm but it turns out someone else took him.

i've also just got to say how much i love this game. so much work went into it and it shows. i've been promoting this thing on twitter / facebook / forums so much people probably think i've got a stake in it, haha!

once my music workload cuts down, i'm gonna do a custom soundtrack for it, whether it ends up being official or some kind of 3rd party thing. i already started tinkering around with a couple remixes/covers of MM songs by ear on my gameboy and it works pretty well.

in closing:

i love this game so much!

Looks like the amount of 6 or so skins I did isn't so small after all! :P

BUUUUUT that's not what really matters, is it haha. Point is, alot of people helped, be it little or small. It wasn't just us folks with that dandy Megaman badge who helped ol' Cutman, but a bunch of people, and we see what a great product we got from it all!

I'd like to think I helped, even though I have absolutely no medals to show for myself! I've been in Cutstuff for well over a year, have been supporting MM8BDM since the early Alpha Stages.
Due to college, I never had the time contribute. Except for attempting Enker's Skin.

Though I'm currently almost done a CTF Map, so yeah.
As well as providing general help for the new comers. Since I've been with Doom and Skulltag for so long, might as well put that experience to good use.

Haha, yeah, my point exactly. Even if it's not in raw work such as skins or maps or whatever, all the forum feedback and support's been essential for Cutman to help make the game. Plus, all the friendly faces are able to help even more help expand the 8BDM project.

When we're told from the original post to thank everyone who helped, we may as well literally thank everyone here!
