you know, the Giant Metool. He's crushing my hopes and dreams :(

well i'd recommend to always keep moving on a diagonal way and use ring boomerang

although i used mega buster....  :cry:

Keep away from him and he'll only do long jumps, which are the easiest to dodge. Strafe around him or just run in a direction where he won't land. The biggest threat is the baby mets that can stun you if they hit you, giving the giant met a chance to squash you. Ring Boomerang and Dust Crusher are best I find for both cleaning up the met spam and damaging the boss.

Hmm I managed to get him eventually by tricking him into just jumping in place

That's pretty much what I did, too.  XD  Also, Drill Bomb does some serious damage to Metool Daddy.  If you're really clever, you can fire four before he hides.

He has very little HP. Try strafing him but get out of the way before he lands!
