So pharaoh shot does splash damage, but when hitting things, it just disappears with no indication that it does splash damage.
It's jarring to say the least, imagine if other explosive weapons just disappeared like that.
Can also guarantee that people who first try the weapon don't even know it does splash.
Yeah it didn't have an explosion graphic in MM4, but it also didn't explode in MM4. It's a non-canon addition that requires non-canon compensation.

Honestly, I did not know it has splash damage, and I'm not much sure how can this be handled other than having its animation loop once more in its "Death".

Should be pretty easy to invent one or use some kind of particle effect. I probably should have done this for most projectiles that just vanish when hitting terrain from the start.

I never mentioned this before since I thought it was the way it was because that's the way it was meant to be in the first place: makes no sense, but of the things like this that don't, what does?
I think this would be a neat thing to have, though I think Pharaoh Shot's splash damage and size is negligible.

Yeah having the small > large animation playing on death with bumped up scaling and transparency is the best way to do this
unless you wanna go full tryhard with some plasma shockwave eruption bullshit

I've always envisioned an explosion effect like this looking similar to the explosion effect used on Astro Crush.
Assuming Pharaoh Shot keeps its radial damage, this will most likely be done to show that it does, indeed, have a splash.
I silently moved this to pending before Bikdark replied, thought I'd say it was moved for logging purposes.
