Title: PLAYPAL NOT FOUND!

Hi.

I want to start a server so I'm able to play with my girlfriend and not have to deal with her whining that she keeps dying because some player comes up to shoot at her. (God forbid someone, ya know, PLAY THE GAME.)

The only problem is, every time I try to start the server and broadcast it to Doomseeker it says "Playpal not found."

I would like to know what that means and how I can fix it.

In DoomSeeker, be sure your iwad is set to megagame.wad and pwads set to MM8BDM-v4c.pk3

The default MM8BDM launcher also has a server host tab, which should tell if you if you're missing anything required to run the game.


Broadcasting to the server list generally requires forwarding your ports, which we have a tutorial for. (http://cutstuff.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=751)
