While messing around with Eddie in an offline skirmish, I found an unused weapon... Solar Blaze.  :shock:

I have screenshots, and this is NOT modded, but I can't seem to get them on here. However, I can confirm that the weapon is fully functional. If somebody can help me with the getting the screenshots up, that would help.

Basic weapon description

Solar Blaze has the user throw a ball that, after a short delay, summons 4 waves in a cross pattern, using minimal ammo.

This was the ONLY MM10 weapon that i could find. Feel free to discuss what this might mean.

EDIT: This weapon deals high damage & uses only 2 ammo. I also have a kill message.

Can confirm. I tried giving myself all of the MM10 weapons and MMV weapons, and Solar Blaze is the only one that showed up, but none of them gave me any sort of error.

Probably just placeholders. Solar Blaze might have been a placeholder accidentally left in in a functional state, or just an easter egg.

nvm it's not an easter egg, it's used.
The rest probably are just there as placeholders though.

It is actually used in a secret boss battle. And I'm not gonna tell which one because you will find it by yourself one day  :lol:

But I think it is surprising that Eddie can drop it... Solar Man would never give his weapon that easily!

Solar Blaze being available using Eddie is intended to be a silly little easter egg to catch people off-guard if they haven't played the Secret Boss yet

This entire thread is spoilers so I'm not going to bother tagging this.

Actually, Molly, a MM10 weapon being available using Eddie is a nod to v1d when Freeze Cracker was available in Eddie for a short time before 2a came out.
It was added to the superboss later as a sort of "yeah, this makes sense" kind of thing, and the superboss influenced which MM10 weapon it was.

Wasn't it included in a couple maps as well (Blizzard Man, etc.), with the description being "Merry Christmas!"?

It wasn't in any official maps at the time.  I did put it in a few CSCM maps for the novelty of it though.

I found a way to get solar blaze rlly,just type in console this:
give solarblazewep
You will get the solar blaze right now
