I like how MM8TEN randomly chooses between the PlayStation and Sega Saturn versions of the music, so I think there could be more maps that could have multiple music tracks that it randomly chooses from - not due to different versions of the game, but because such a map represents 2 stages of the original game:
MM4DC1: Cossack Castle stages 1 and 2 (the former is in the game, but it isn't used to my knowledge)
MM8DW1: Wily Castle stages 1 and 2
MMBMUS: The Robot Museum themes from MM7 and MM&B
MMWTDW1: Wily Tower stages 1 and 2 (according to this Tumblr post of Molly's (http://geno2925.tumblr.com/post/101043075384/now-those-of-you-who-have-played-through-version), you even composed the latter for this game!)
MMWTDW2: Wily Tower stages 3 and 4

MM8DUO could have this music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSZvwtIt_Mc) as a secondary theme (since it's partially based on the intro stage, which had a section where this music plays).
Also, for these next two suggestions, they are references to the Navi Mode in the Complete Works ports:
1. Top Man with the MM7 Intro Stage music as a secondary theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLdUbxBu0I4) (the MM7 Intro Stage song is actually already in the game, just currently unused -- type "changemus 7INTMUS" into the console to listen)
2. Magnet Man with Cloud Man's Stage music as a secondary theme (https://www.youtube.com/v/64HiMVqLnd8?autoplay=true&start=646&end=792)

CLDMUS on MM3MAG is very unlikely.

I suggested something similar to this a while ago and they said they'd think about it. For MM4DC1 however, I think they could eventually make a MM4DC2 and give it the second theme and let MM4DC1 have the first theme. But that'd obviously be a far longer and harder option.

7INTMUS is used on MM7STR.
Heh, sorry about that. I was unaware that MM7STR existed until now. I didn't read the change log, and I didn't recall the map being discussed in the v5 preview thread.

MM3TOP/MAG: Unfitting and not well known. Against it.
MM4DC1: Good idea. Not much else to say.
MM8DUO: The underground isn't featured in the level, nor is it fitting, nor is the theme interesting. Against it.
MM8DW1: Good idea, although I think that the music should simply be replaced by the Stage 1 theme.
MMBMUS: The MM7 museum theme was made for a short stroll through a short and mostly decorative stage. Against it.
MMWTDW1/DW2: Against it. The Stage 3 theme is forgettable, and the Stage 2 theme is unfittingand a little silly.
I'd personally recommend MM2AIR to have MMII's theme as a secret.
