Hi there, name's Keryo and I feel like contributing to this epic game.

Maps:

MMKWO1 - Waverunner Mayhem v1.5

This was a little something I whipped up in 30 minutes last night, due to insomnia kicking in.

Added bridges to the Red, Blue and White CTF flag positions. Also widened the wall along the junk pit.

Finally, fixed the sky issue and now waverunners explode at the edge of the launching ramp.

KWRACE01 - Galactic Highway

I took the same basis behind Waverunner Mayhem and applied it into a full blown race course. there are two jumps that require speed and precision to clear intact. I even made a "tuning garage" at the finish line for the lulz.

Hmm...

How do you know I only have one eye?

On a more related note, either make the map a bit smaller or dont use a big row of the same textures. Spice it up! Add a line of a different texture to divide it or use some other textures. Air Man's is easily one of the worst texture compliations in the game.

Thanks for the feedback. Actually, this map will be in constant updating since there are things I still need to figure out like death by water, and exploding waverunners on wall crash, but I'm sure this will be very entertaining for everyone as is and should tide you over till version 1.5 of the map. I'll make sure to fix those textures.

Use more textures. Make it bright and colourful. Don't stick to like 5 textures and have it as your "theme". Try to "Mix & Match".



Oh and make the brightness 255 for everything if you want it to look like a legit MM8BDM map.

I think I see that you're using a sky texture for the walls. Don't do this, ever. It's bad. Just use the Line_Horizon special instead.

Thanks for explaining that. I wondered how you guys did it in the other levels.

Also, The Kyuubi Naruto Skin is done, just needs to be compiled into pk3. My next skin will be Ermac from Mortal Kombat (Deception Attire). And yes, it will come complete with audio taunts.

I dunno. I have some old 8-bit songs I made way back when with some midis and an NES soundfont... but maybe we'll just stick it to the music already in game, since it is just going to be an 8-Bit "Battle and Chase" conversion, essentially.

on another note... Galactic Highway is now up! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to playin' TF2.

I did use some, but getting a loud SAXTON HALE noise everytime he lands gets really annoying so I changed it back to mega sounds.
