This is a program I've been using for quite some time to work on many skins and other things as it allows me to quickly load and export frames into their own image files making them easy to import into SLADE/SLumpED. It's very easy to use, just load an image file of some sprites you need into their own frames, click on the ones you want, and then export! Though sometimes the program will read a single frame as multiples so for this I'd recommend first clicking on all the sections of the sprite and then click "Combine Selected". Of course if this ends up being just as time-consuming then I would say use a different program like Paint.NET to get those kind of frames exported properly.

This is extremely useful (if only I had this years ago)
