Title: Full Screen Issue
Post by: Hinatediz on June 03, 2017, 01:50:07 AM
I've trying to start the game for the first time in this new fixed Windows 7 PC... and when it starts, the monitor doesn't display the game properly and is locked until I press the Windows Start key button that makes it return to normal.

In my GZDoom with Doom Wads this issue isn't present since it displayed the game properly...

What I need to do to run MM8BDM normally like the time when my PC didn't break down yet?

It may be running an ini file with a resolution your monitor doesn't support. Try removing/moving the Zandronum-name ini file from the mm8bdm directory and start the mm8bdm launcher. It should generate an ini file for you in a window so you can set up the correct resolution then.

I realized I can fix it by editing the ini notepads.

However, I'm not sure which command parameters I have to edit in order to trigger the unlocking of the monitor widescreen.

Adding "+" then the thing that fixed it by editing the ini file should work. I.e +vid_renderer 1

Nah, I managed to finally fix it... although sometimes suddenly the colors scramble like rainbows, I just refix it by restarting (closing and opening) the game.
