Title: Problems with the in game menu
Post by: Anonymous on November 01, 2010, 04:59:24 AM
When I go into a sub-menu such as controls etc. the menu becomes unreadable and I can't actually use any of them.  Maybe this is just because of my terrible laptop, but I just thought I'd mention it.
Another problem I seem to be having is that I can't jump...I think the standard control is the space bar, but either way I can't actually check because the menu is weird.
Apart from that movement, shooting etc. works fine.  I'm dying to be able to play this properly. :)

Is this just happening in full screen mode? If so, try again in windowed mode. You can get to windowed mode by pressing alt + enter in game.

If that's not the case, try changing your video resolution.

I tried it in Window mode, but that didn't seem to help :(

Is that changing the video resolution for the game, or something like the screen resolution for the PC?

In Game. It's under the options menu called "Set Video Mode". Granted if it your control submenu isn't working, I'm wondering if the set video mode menu will work.

Mmhh...I figured it might have been there...and it's exactly where I can't get.
I guess I'm quite stuck now...

This is the second person who's got this problem, although I'm having trouble finding the old thread to dig up what the resolution was.

For now, try playing around with the skullltag-user.ini. You should be able to set your controls and settings from there, although it'll be a bit awkward.

Ok, I'll give that a try!
Thanks for all the help :)
