Title: v1b launcher problems
Post by: KKSliX on November 02, 2010, 01:43:00 PM
Whenever I try to put in the Roboenza Patch via the MM8BDM v1b launcher, it always seems to fail. I moved the files to my C disk, but in the end it fails. Can you help me? Doomseeker automatically places the patch into the game.

How does it fail? Does it just not appear to be running? Did you try connecting to a roboenza server?

When I connect to a server in Doomseeker, it works fine and I see the title change. When I place the patch in the v1b launcher, it just doesn't run the patch and decides to follow Dr.Wily and his plans for Game Domination. I don't know what I am doing wrong. It is in a non complicated location. Please help.

Where's MM8BDM installed to? The full path? If it's working in DoomSeeker you should be fine though.

C:/Megaman 8-Bit DeathMatch/Roboenza-1.wad

I want to open a server, but everytime I try, it seems it cannot read the roboenza file. The only time I can use the patch is if someone opens a roboenza server. Doomseeker can't open a server with the roboenza patch because of something about the server unable to read Roboenza Decorate or something like that.

Try removing the spaces from the folder name (rename the actual folder in C:). If this works let me know.
