I think it'd be more efficient to be able to voice-chat with your fellow Megaman Comrades than standing around with a bubble above your head...
Someone mentioned a teamspeak server one time during a Roboenza game.
.... *shifty-eyes and downloads teamspeak*
-
I might... when im bored, download it once
-
WAs thinking i could probably host a Teamspeak server myself but unfortunately I do not know how.
I think Teamspeak would be an efficient way for people to communicate, like organizing small events.
-
what is this teamspeak you speak of? im intrested in getting this (as im tired of typing on the keyboard, standing in one spot, losing presous time fragging for my life).
-
Heh, unless it would be made official, nobody would join a set channel.
Also, ventrillo is better.

This post is nothing....
Nothing but truth.
-
Eh. True, true. Ventrilo's better... oh well. *uninstalls Teamspeak*
-
im usually on teamspeak
...but it isnt for megaman haha. sorry! :ugeek:

Well, if you could get cutty/someone extremely popular to advertise a server, then people might join. Anything other than that is a lost cause.
-
Make a server and I'd be happy to say "Yep this is the mm8bdm teamspeak server". Good luck finding one that would be happy to do this though.
-
Welll it was a thought I wanted to voice. *shrugs* Mike, lock this thread up, it aint going anywhere.
-
there are plenty of public servers available waiting to be used. the hard part is getting people to join them mid-match. i've joined a few with some friends and also used skype with a guy just today.
-
Why not just use Skype?
With teamspeak or ventrilo, you'd have to find a server, whereas in skype you could just set up nightly chats or whatever. Only thing is, you'd have to actually manually invite people and not just allow them to log in and start talking, but then again if as many people used a teamspeak/vent server as who were actually logged onto, say, Mega Cool Story on an active night, I could imagine it'd be hard to concentrate or talk much with all the chatter.
-
Skype = unnecessary bloatware.

I believe I was the one who mentioned the Ventrilo for MM8BDM thing on last week's Multitap.
