What do you think is the best level music in any Mega Man game?
I say Flame Man or Proto Man/Dark Man castle.
-
Snake Man
-
Snakeman/Burstman/Junkman/Turboman
-
Quick man
-
Flash in the Dark. Period. End of Discussion.
-
Farewell to Ballade. That is all.

We're the Robots is better.
-
No, it isn't. Also, it's "We're the Robots".
-
either sparkman or burstman
-
Flash In The Dark.
SnakeMan
WilyCastle1 MM2/MM10 Inside and Outside(Not the same songs)
NitroMan
StrikeMan
BlizzardMan
CloudMan
MagicMan
ClownMan (It's good, well for me.)
-
Darkman castle theme (happyyyyy)
Shademan Theme (so myterious!)
Stoneman Theme (so jazz and rock!)
But there are a lot of good musics in Rockman classic!!
-
Ahh, so many, so I'm only gonna name a few.
Snake Man (need I say more? hehe)
Dr. Cossack Second stages (just beautiful)
Protoman / Darkman stages (i seem to whistle this tune a lot)
Against the Pressure (MM10 Wily stage 2) (my new fave!)
There's too many to mention, but one could simply say they are all great!
-
My favorites are Spark Man, Gravity Man, Star Man, and Plant Man.
-
Farewell to Ballade. That is all.
YES. Ballade remains one of my favorite bosses ever, and MM10 only made him more awesome.
-
My personal favorites:
Flash in the Dark (HELL YES.)
Fire Man (Favorite Master from the game has a pretty good theme as well.)
Galaxy Fantasy (I love how happy go lucky it sounds, despite the fact that Megaman is off to murder his sibling.)
Concrete Jungle (First stage I played on the 360 demo, so it's also the first stage song I heard.)
Every song from MM3 (Okay, at least one guy is going to agree with me here.)
Get the Punk Out, Farewell to Ballade, and whatever Enker's is called. (Purely epic.)
King's Stage (Because it's so epic. This is the real end of the game, not Wily, blarghhh)
-
My favorite is...
MM9: Strange world.
-
Tornado Man
-
Air man
or
Quick man
-
I forgot to add one: MM3's password screen  lol
It's just so happy and nostalgic it'll make any MM fan grin.
Also MM3's intro theme is pretty epic.
-
every song from every game
-
My top 5 RM themes:
5. Pharaoh man
4. Solar man
3. Spark man
2. Metal man
1. Snake man

Latios, please refrain from posting in topics that are really old like this one, okay?
-
Mr. X fortress.
'nuff said.
-
...Look at the post above yours.
-
I don't see much wrong with them posting here. The topic is asking for their opinion, so I say let them post it. Sure the topic is old, but I'd say its still okay to post.
-
It's hard to pick a favorite, but Darkman Fortress, Flash in the Dark, and Nitro Man's stage are all kickass.
-
snake man :ugeek:
-
Not level music but I love it:
(I guess technically its a remix OF level music!)
-
Dark Man, Gyro Man, Quick Man, Spark Man, Bright Man, Pharaoh Man, Stone Man, Wind Man, Junk Man, Turtle's Realm and Walk the Invisible (Megaman 7 Wily Stages 2 and 3) Flash in the Dark, Strange World, Dynamo Man, Frost Man, Aqua Man, Elec Man, Shadow Man, Megaman 5 Wily Stages, Megaman 3 Wily Stage 1, and Galaxy Man, Tornado Man, and Hornet Man. This series has great music. Oh, and all the ones from Megaman 10. All of them.
-
One of them
One of the best.
Actually I like several every mm classic music except MM7.
-
MM7.
How can you not like Shade Man?!

MM7.
How can you not like Shade Man?!
This!
I like MM7's soundtrack. It sounds a lot like classic MM on the NES, only on 16 bit MIDI.
Where as MMX had a more "heavy metal" feel to it, with the "classic" factor popping up every now and then.
I'd still consider MM7's musical style the same to the NES ones, despite this one was on the SNES.
And yes, Shade Man's theme! Sticks out that one.
Also Wily stage 1, Slash Man, Junk Man (plus heaps more etc.).
-
MM7's soundtrack is grossly underrated. Freeze Man is still one of my all time favorites.
MM7 in general is underrated, actually..
-
To be honest, I didn't really like MM7 when I first played it (played it emulated) mostly coz I thought his movements were too slow, and that the camera was zoomed in too much (compared to the NES games or Mega Man X).
Though when I started liking it, it was no surprise that the music was one of the first things I grew fond of. It didn't have the heavy metal style of Mega Man X, but it was still great, and had a glimpse of the NES series, with the attitude of the SNES (just listen to the intro stage music). In no time I was tapping to Burst Man's theme and all the others.
By the end, I ended up really liking this game! :D
-
The problem in mm7 is the zoom megaman/all the screen....he is too big for the screen i think.
Shademan is the robotmaster who have the best dark/mysterious song of the serie, for me.
-
I fell in love with MM7 the minute I started playing.
I think it was the intro stage.
-
You cannot deny that Against The Pressure is the most epic thing ever.
-
Wily stage 1 MM7.End of story.

My favorite music from a Mega Man HACK would be Quick Man, in No Constancy. I urge you to check it out.

If only I could link to all the songs...I'll pick one song from each game, make it short. Note I do not own Mega Man 5 or 6, and I've heard hardly anything from 7-8.
MM1: Wily's Castle Stage 1-2. Yes, I know, generic answer, but it's so catchy!
MMPU: Wily Machine Theme. This song, like all MM final boss themes, delivers the necessary drama for the final fight, but it's also epic for the new twist on a song they've remixed so many times.
MM2: Quick-Man's Theme. This song instilled a lot of chaos and panic to me. It's kinda well-suited for physical activity--I should listen to it when I run.
MM3: Snake-Man's Theme. It has a subtle power to it, and the first few notes are kind of in-your-face--a lot like an actual snake.
MM4: Dive-Man's Theme. Catchy theme, annoying master. Not much more to be said.
MM5: Crystal-Man's Theme. While a short song, the song had some "in-your-face" notes that I love so very much. Kinda ambient, kinda relaxed.
MM6: Mr. X's Fortress Level. A kind-of-sad song like Bubble-Man, it really accentuated the empty feeling I had as I walked the vast, empty areas of his stage, looking for a DERPuter to shoot.
MM7: ...Uh...Never heard anything...Boss Theme by default, even though it was an 8-Bit Remix?
MM8: That strange little jingle that played right before a boss fight. Grr...The best song is so short!
MM&B: I guess the Boss Theme is okay?
MM9: Wily's Castle Stage 3. A more sophisticated version of We're the Robots to me, with lots of good, random notes.
MM10: Wily's Castle Stage 1. I said it.
