I think going through the single-player with a friend or somesuch would be fun.
Sure, it's basically just sequential deathmatch, but it's got a plot, and bosses, and sometimes you just wanna kill bots, you know?
On the plus side, I don't imagine it would be too hard to implement either..
Just wondering if the devs had thought about it, since I saw co-op as one of the listed skulltag mode things.

The topic Mr. X referred is already dead.
Back to the topic. It would be really cool, but it looks like there is some heavy protection against co-op. I nearly got it, but even on the UNKNOWN map is mechanism changin map to Cutman's when there are some non-spectating players detected. I wonder why did CutmanMike make this defense, even though co-op boss bash works good and some of us would still try to hack it.

And...? Doesn't change the fact there is no consideration for Coop. The single player mode isn't even that great. If you want "Coop" get a friend, host a server, throw in some bots. Sure you have no bosses, but your going through the game with a player.

If you want to play bossfights, just summon the boss with cheats. And nice bump.

As was this topic until you bumped it.

Point Taken. This topic has already been discussed. I see no reason to bring it back from the dead.
If you really must discuss this issue again, then make a thread in the suggestions. Though I'm pretty sure cooperative is one of the farthest things on the devs minds.
